RTTK 100km 2026 🏰👑🏃‍♀️

This run not only gave me a medal but oh my goodness I cannot tell you how much I got this from race;

I don’t even know where to start!!

Firstly 104.28km was covered
Secondly the sheer grit, determination, resilience and strength that went into completing this was somewhere I have never been before
Thirdly I was way harder than RTTS on the second loop
Fourth walking 20km in pure darkness with the most amazing people helping each other, talking, making sure we’re all ok and just pure helping each other get to the end when every single one of us is done is something I will never ever forget! The community spirit just was incredible
Fifth doing it for the girl who was 6 stone over weight would be so proud
Sixth 6 weeks ago I didn’t think I would be on that start line thanks to an injury which stayed at bay throughout just but may gosh it taught me that bodies are so precious and to finish I had to be so so careful

⭐️ 18:26:35 ⭐️ and god damn I am proud of that!!

Oh and lastly there 49% of women on that start line yesterday collectively 💗💗

Copenhagen marathon 🇩🇰🏃‍♀️

You were insane till around 24-25km till my heel just decided to leave the chat. I knew it was a risky gain with dealing with it for this training block on and off.

I am gutted I won’t lie; my training block went to the T and I was hitting sub 5km/h paces on training but you can never predict what is going to happen on race day.

Sub 50 slipped away and then sub 4 around 40km; I can be sad and I have been sad but a time is a time and that isn’t want rules a marathon! The fact I am on 4 marathons in my 3 year running journey and I didn’t give up when up I saw Nath at 29km crying my eyes out I am proud of that!

Copenhagen was fun, fast fast course surrounded by some amazing runners and I am already to come back and redeem my self. I know 3:45 is still reachable but today wasn’t it and that’s ok. I learnt more about myself than a time is worth

This morning’s check-in reminded me why you shouldn’t skip the days you feel like shit. ❤️

All week I’ve worked my butt off:

✅ Steps ✅ Cardio ✅ Calorie deficit ✅ Pushed hard in the gym

But since Tuesday, I’ve had bloating, insomnia, night sweats and anxiety through the roof.

I stepped on the scales this morning and felt like I’d failed. Like I’d gone backwards. 😩

My coach helped me step back and look at the bigger picture. Despite how I felt, my check-in photos showed progress in my legs, shoulders and face.

Progress was still happening, even when I couldn’t see it. 🌸

So if you’re working towards your goals and have a day where you feel rubbish, don’t skip your check-in.

Be honest, share how you’re feeling and let your coach help you see the bigger picture.

These photos are from the end of June to now. ❤️

The weight loss wasn’t the hardest part.

Learning how to live afterwards was. 🌸

Learning to eat, train, enjoy life and adjust without constantly feeling like I’ve “failed”.

That’s the real progress.

You don’t need to keep starting over. 🤍

Goodbye August my favourite month ever!

You sunny, gorgeous -

Consisted of breakfast in the sunshine, works on the moors, gym sessions, my birthday, a full moon, solar eclipse, lots of sunbathing, the kooks, time with loved ones and lots of memories

Progress isn’t never going off track.

It’s enjoying your life, knowing you haven’t ruined anything, and knowing how to come back. 🌸

That’s the kind of progress we build inside Blossom.

So so proud of @kate_in_portugal

I am not proud of my starting point but that is life…

2024 I put weight on training for Manchester marathon, I lost some before Bali 2024

2025 I lost a stone plus more unintentionally because of marathon and ultra training, I couldn’t eat enough and then in Bali 2025 i lost more.

Once back from Bali I struggled to get into a workout routine, my eating was a mess and my body and mind was just so depleted and exhausted I I stopped exercising and ultimately piled the weight on.

2026 I began marathon & ultra training with the same eating habits (not good, eating all the bad stuff) weight piled on. The running was done, an injury happened & it was time to sort my shit out

Along came @aiste.reforma who I have been with for 2 months now; she’s chucked me back in the gym, we are sorting my eating habits out, my mindset is getting a rejig and body composition is getting a huge shift!

I won’t sit here and say it’s been easy because it hasn’t, going from running to no running, working on rehabbing a foot injury to loosing weight and working on mindset; we had some slip ups but also some huge lessons! Tome wasn’t built in a day neither will my results but that’s where discipline comes in; we graft till it becomes habits and routines and we do some learning along the way

I have a long way to go till my goal and till I am out of injury but forever grateful to having Aiste guiding me along the way

Taking that big decision in 2024 to solo travel Bali for a month not only showed me what a wonderful world we live in but it showed me the confident independent queen that was just hiding 🫣

Travelling solo shows you that you can do almost anything solo;
I thought the skills, confidence and bravery I developed in Bali and my other solo trips were just to do with travelling - nope!

Those skills have helped me
🥾 adventure new places on the moors
☕️ go to cafes or pubs on my own
☀️eat on my own
🥗 eat on my own
⭐️ so so much more

Still now I get nervous and anxious because that’s just human but I look back at the times I was solo on the other side of the world and always think if I was able to do it then in a foreign country why can’t I do it in my own - so if I go!!

I say it all the time but solo travelling CHANGES YOUR LIFE

Beamsley Beacon ⛰️🥾🌞

I have wanted go to Beamsley Beacon ever since Ash and I went up last year training the ultras - because I don’t know it like Ilkley Moor I was always nervous but with the weather going crap tomorrow I jumped at the opportunity, found myself a Strava route and of if I went!

14.5km, 22k steps, wind swept hair and dusty legs later I absolutely loved it and there was nothing to worry about! Next time further and a new route……
