Trying something new here — a little look at what I’ve been working on lately!

The past few days have taken me from digging into opioid settlement money, to the future of an old Travelodge, to how rising gas prices are affecting people across Acadiana.

More of these behind-the-scenes reporting recaps to come.

Been a minute since I shared a story here, but with the world remembering Dolly Parton, I really enjoyed getting to share this special Louisiana connection! Anthony Dopsie shared the story behind an incredible 1987 photo with Dolly and his family — and the memory of how she embraced Louisiana music. Such a fun one to film and a story I’m glad I got to share!

1 year with the most special girl in the world and what better way to spend it than on the heels of our trip to California!

Was my first flight and my first time in California. Getting to experience and soak up the moments in places I’ve only dreamed of was nothing but pure bliss just like the bliss I’ve found with you
@kkquintero

To Kayla- thank you for being the best Girlfriend, partner and most importantly, friend. From our silly wine and restaurant escapades to the quiet moments where with just a look, we can communicate a lifetime of thoughts I love you more than I can put into words.♥️♥️♥️

Here’s to many more years and don’t worry California, we’re coming back and we’ll see you soon. taken in Los Angeles, California by @joshuamoton.tv

Feeling Beyond Excited and blessed to win Reporter of the Year!!!! For the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters 2026 Prestige Awards. At a loss for words thank you to everyone who’s ever supported me along my journey.
Feeling so overwhelmed right now.
This is huge and this is all because of the hard work I’ve put in and the love and support I’ve received along the way.

“Some people build fences to keep people out. Others build fences to keep people in.” -Jim Bono

I couldn’t be more grateful for the people I have inside my fence.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support me doing what I love it means more than you know, and thank you God for the chance to honor You through my work.

From the crew to my outstanding castmates and brilliant director — everyone poured their hearts into this production, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It was an honor to bring August Wilson’s words to life alongside such wonderful individuals.

There’s nothing like the magic of the stage.
