New here? Or been lurking a while? 👀 Ive been a bit MIA too lately...

Either way, it's time we met properly.I'm Kye. Recovering school teacher. Professional rule-breaker. Story-burner and dream-catcher.

I work with women who are DONE being the reliable one, the nice one, the one who waits her turn.

Because here's the truth:
IDENTITY is everything.
Your success. Your wealth. Your health.
It all comes back to who you're BEING.

So swipe through, then tell me about YOU 👇
💗 What do you do?
💗 Where are you from?
💗 What's one rule you're done following? by @_kye.simmons

No woman has ever sat down in a session with me and said, “I’ve been lying to myself for twenty years.”

What she says is that she’s stuck, and sick of landing back in the same spot however much effort she puts in.

Then she closes her eyes and the real belief comes up. It’s usually one sentence she’s been saying about herself for so long that she’s never once stopped to check whether it’s true.

These sentences are hard to catch because they sound like you. “I’m easygoing” doesn’t feel like a lie. It feels like a description of who you are.

Which one have you been living? Tell me in the comments.

And follow along, because there’s more where this came from. by @_kye.simmons

Take whichever one you need today. Especially if you’ve been talking yourself out of something you’d bloody love to do.

Which one’s yours: 1, 2, 3 or 4? Tell me why. I’d love to hear what you’re saying yes to.

Send it to the friend whose “crazy idea” you’d actually love to see happen. by @_kye.simmons

Which one would get you up and about? by @_kye.simmons

That voice that says "I'll just do it myself' responds 500 milliseconds seconds in your subconscious mind before you even decide to ask for help.
And so you don't.

If you're new here, I'm Kye. I work with women who are bloody good at looking after everyone else but have somehow ended up at the bottom of their own priority list. I help them change that.

If arriving home requires 10 minutes sitting in the car before you venture inside, because you know the moment you walk through that door someone will need something from you, it's probably time we had a chat.

You deserve more than 10 minutes of peace in your own bloody driveway.

How many more times are you going to promise yourself things will be different, then go straight back to doing everything for everyone?

I’d love a weekend where “ask Mum” isn’t the solution to every fucking problem.

The butter’s in the fridge. Where it lives. I believe in you. 😂

If everyone relies on you and you’d love a bloody minute for yourself, you’re in the right place. I’m Kye, an identity strategist for capable women who want their lives to have room for them too.

Fancy getting some of those hours back? Comment BE and I’ll send you The Woman Beneath quiz. It’s a starting point for understanding yourself and the patterns that keep making everyone’s business your business. by @_kye.simmons

My ex-husband had three reasons for cheating, and every one of them was something wrong with me.

The scary part is that I actually believed him for a little while. I questioned my actions. My priorities. My role in his actions. But none of it was mine to question.

If you were raised to be the good girl, you go looking for your part in everything, including someone else's choices. I spent years going over it before I could see that his actions were never about me.

If you're still carrying blame that isn't yours, comment BE and I'll send you The Woman Beneath quiz. It shows you which identity has you taking responsibility for everyone else's behaviour, so you can finally put it down. by @_kye.simmons

The guardrails image works. I’d change “you decided…to allow them” because these patterns often develop before you’re old enough to question them.

You might be pleased to know that some of the rules you live by today were formed when you were a child. Small guardrails that taught you what kept other people happy and what got you into trouble. You’ve probably followed some of them for decades without realising they were there.

I'm Kye, an identity strategist for women. I work with the women who holds everything together, helping her put herself back on the bloody agenda.

Once you recognise those guardrails, we can start changing them so they protect your time and give you room to choose what you want, even when someone else would prefer otherwise.

Most women I work with can tell me exactly what they want. They just never seem to do it.

That isn't a motivation, a lazyness or willpower problem. Its that somewhere along the way you picked up an identity that decides what's YOU and what isn't YOU and she's been making the calls ever since.

I spent 25 years in education watching kids learn who they were supposed to be. I saw it happen first hand in classrooms long before I understood it was happening to me also. Most of us never questioned it because nobody tells us it is something we are allowed to question.

Save this one. Next time you hear yourself ask 'is this really me?' come back and ask whose rule it really is.

And if you want to know who's been driving your identity, comment BE and I'll send you The Woman Beneath quiz. It shows you the identity making your decisions, so you can choose whether she keeps the job. by @_kye.simmons

Hold your keys a certain way. Text when you get home. Don’t walk alone. Most of us learned it so young we never questioned it, and now we’re handing the same list to our daughters.

I want to know what’s on yours.

What are you teaching your kids to keep them safe? Tell me in the comments 👇

Keep GOING
It’s so close I can feel it ❤️ by @_kye.simmons

I stayed married to the lie long after I signed the divorce papers.

The lie said if I worked hard enough, loved hard enough and stayed organised enough, I could hold every single thing together. So when it all started cracking, I assumed the crack was me.

Turns out a whole generation of us were doing the same thing. Raising kids, driving Dad to his scans, answering work emails from the hospital car park, then lying awake wondering why we couldn’t just f*cking cope.

You were never failing. You were set up to carry more than one woman ever could, and then told that it was a choice. Or you just need to prioritise..

Comment BE and I’ll send you The Woman Beneath quiz. It shows you which parts of the good girl are still running you ragged, so you can start owning the possibility of more, different and better. by @_kye.simmons
