This is not something I thought I would have to say for a long time yet. Without the support of my dad I don't know that I would have made it in glass. I didn't think I would make the program, and if he didn't drive me over to seheridan to hand in my application in person after thw deadline had closed I may not have ever tried.

Dad was always picking me up mid night or later so I could stay at home but devote all the time I could to working in the studio as a student.

Even now most of my collection, tools and equipment live in my parents basement. Thank you dad for all your love and support in making my dreams come true.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Stephen Guy on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026. Beloved husband of Nicole and loving father of Victoria, Isabella, and Alexandra, and pets Wally and Clementine. Predeceased by his parents Cicely & Wilfred, brother Bob, and beloved pets Morgaine & Jetta. Caring brother to Angela (John) & Lynne (Michael), and uncle to many loved nephews and nieces.
Steve was a kind and joyous soul whose presence made every room a little warmer and brighter. He found his greatest happiness in the simple, meaningful moments he shared with his family—whether he was planning their next trip together, tending to the garden, getting lost in a good book, walking his dogs and enjoying the world around him. There was never an empty table or plate in Steve’s home. He loved to cook, pour a glass of Limoncello, and gather the people he loved around good food and good conversation. Above all, Steve was generous and deeply caring. He was always the first to offer help, the first to listen, and the first to lend a shoulder to lean on. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering support touched many lives, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
A private gathering has taken place for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burlington Humane Society or Hamilton/Burlington SPCA. by @_lady_glass_
