Super cute commission for the lovely @tattsbycats that was so much fun to paint! i've never painted so small before (each canvas 10cm x 10cm) but i enjoyed bringing these purrsonalities to life! #oilpaintingoncanvas #petcommission #petportraits #colorfulpainting #catpainting by @_liabean_
Only 2 for now but i really want to frame more when i can #artframe #oilpaintingoncanvas #artexhibiton #colorfulart #pointofview by @_liabean_
Recently I've felt like everything i touch with a paintbrush turns out badily so i haven't got much new to share. Instead i've turned my focus to the piano and learning Clair de Lune. It's the one song i've always wanted to play and started learning it when i had lessons but that was many years ago and i haven't played in so long. Slow orogress so far but i really want to get good at playing again. #oilpaintingoncanvas #pianoplaying #paintingstudy #perspectiveart by @_liabean_

Sketch vs Painting I really liked the concept of the sketch so decided to develop it into something more and this is how it turned out. Painting the tattoos were the best bit I'll definitely try and paint more of them one day. The sketch was ballpoint pen on paper and for the painting i used oils on canvas #povart #oilpaintingoncanvas #tattoosleeve #contemporarypainting #personalperspective by @_liabean_

Slow Sunday Colour Studies I forget how great an exercise it is to copy other artists who use colour in a way you love. My first one i didn't finish - ref was from Izumi Kogahara but my study from Henri Matisse went much better. I really recommend doing this yourself if you're in a creative block or if you want to improve with colours too #colortheory #colorstudy #oilsketch by @_liabean_
