He really said โ€œno thanks momโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ and in his defense he had just woken up from his nap. But some day, heโ€™s not going to want me to hold him anymore so I will soak this up for as long as I can. ๐Ÿฅน Can any other toddler moms relate?๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป by @_lifewithlyss
You guys!!! When I tell you my son BEGS for these and eats 5 of them at a time, Iโ€™m not even kidding ๐Ÿ˜ญ My grocery bill is going to thank me for this. โ€ข1 ripe banana โ€ข1/2 cup applesauce โ€ข1 cup oats, pulsed in blender โ€ขSplash of vanilla โ€ขSpoonful PB โ€ขSprinkle of cinnamon โ€ข1/4-1/2 cup pumpkin โ€ข1/4 cup veggies of choice, pulsed Bake at 350ยฐ for 16-20 minutes Make sure to save this to look back on and send to a fellow toddler mom!!๐ŸŽ‰ by @_lifewithlyss
A year ago I would have laughed if you told me I ran two half marathons and plan to keep running more ๐Ÿ˜‚ I only meant to chase one goal, and instead I found something I genuinely love. Itโ€™s honestly kind of wild how trying one thing can change so much. If youโ€™re looking for a sign to try something new, this is it ๐Ÿค by @_lifewithlyss
Itโ€™s the most wonderful time of the year!!!๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿป Iโ€™ve loved Christmas since I was little, and Iโ€™m realizing the magic never really goes away.. it just gets passed along. And now that Iโ€™m a mom I get to see the magic through my sonโ€™s eyes and it honestly doesnโ€™t get better than that๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿค So no, Iโ€™m not sorry for how early the decorations came out this year๐Ÿคช by @_lifewithlyss
As someone whoโ€™s ran two half marathons, Iโ€™ve definitely had my fair share of frustrations with running belts. My old one constantly bounced, rode up, and barely had enough room for my phone and some fuel. ๐Ÿ™ƒ So when @endorphinbelt sent me their running belt, I knew I had to put it to the test! With adjustable straps on both sides, room for my running essentials, and a design made to stay put, I was excited to see how it would hold up during an actual run! Come along for the miles and see how it does! ๐Ÿค #endorphinbelt #running #marathontraining #halfmarathontraining #runningcommunity by @_lifewithlyss
Two half marathons in and Iโ€™ve learned that part of staying consistent is actually enjoying your life along the way .So yes, Iโ€™ll have a @bluebirdhardwater and yes, Iโ€™ll still be out the door in the morning. ๐Ÿคช Whatโ€™s your favorite way to unwind after a long week? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป by @_lifewithlyss
Running one half marathon โ€œjust to say I did itโ€ has turned into an addiction๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚ The finish line was satisfying (both times), but it left me wanting more (also both times๐Ÿคช). I think itโ€™s safe to say Iโ€™ve found my โ€œthingโ€ outside of being a mom. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ by @_lifewithlyss

I had NO idea a kidsโ€™ toothbrush could do all of this! The @usmile_global Q30 makes brushing teeth feel more like a game than a chore, and my toddler loves it! Never won the lottery but this is so much better ๐Ÿค The way he says it just makes my heart melt I will never get tired of hearing it. Itโ€™s the best thing I have ever been called in my entire life ๐Ÿค by @_lifewithlyss
A week of workouts: post half marathon edition ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ After thirteen miles of fast racing, the only thing on my training plan the following week was to move gently and let my body recover. Easy runs, light movement, and a lot of grace. Getting back to pushing hard again this week๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป by @_lifewithlyss
And to think I could have been at work instead of enjoying moments like thisโ€ฆ It makes me so sick to my stomach thinking about how much time I missed with him during his first year of lifeโ€ฆ the year where heโ€™s learning so much and changing so quickly every single day. Getting to stay home with him now is a blessing I will never take for granted. Thereโ€™s nothing else Iโ€™d rather be doing on a random afternoon than making banana bread (and a mess of flour all over the counter) with my favorite little boy. ๐Ÿค by @_lifewithlyss
