big up the team man, wow.

Ive been dreaming for such a long time about a show like this within our borders. It went straight from my Pinterest and IG feed into reality. And theres no one better to have done it with. The most forward thinking individuals in the scene.

My role in this presentation felt like such a beautiful combo of all the worlds my hands reach for in the mornings when I wake up; set design, interactive visual media, music production, live performance.

What an honour @goetheinstitut_namibia, thank you.

Echoes of the Future

Meet the Collaborators:

@xamques is an interdisciplinary artist and storyteller. Her practice explores cultural memory, language, sound, and imagined futures. Drawing on experience in radio production, creative writing, and spoken word poetry, she creates multilingual, experimental works that weave together voice, storytelling, and collective narratives. Her work is particularly interested in Afri-sci-fi perspectives, memory-making, and the repatriation of intangible heritage through collaborative storytelling. Through sound, poetry, and research, she creates spaces for community reflection, intergenerational exchange, and ongoing experimentation with non-physical forms of restitution and healing.

On Friday 25 September at the newly located Goethe-Institut Namibia premises, Qûes alongside @_lvminvs247_ , @cassidykaron @banger_drums @nika.herero invites you to join in the experience that asks asks to gather and collectively create the endless echoes of our Futu#echoesofthefuture #creativelab #goetheinstitutnamibia #poet community
