Update May 2026: My full talk is now released on TEDx international youtube page. Click link on bio to watch🤩

March 28th 2026: Today I gave my first ever TED Talk!! 🥳

Through it, I had the chance to speak about the power of youth in shaping the digital future — something deeply connected to a story very close to my heart: the growth of the Mimi na Jamii Foundation @mjfoundationtz.

What began as my very first blog post online has grown into a network of over 200 young people across Tanzania and the diaspora working towards youth empowerment and community development.

The internet did not give me a shortcut or an opportunity meant for only a few people like me. It showed me that possibility to build things that matter exists for anyone, from any walk of life, living in the digital age today.

I am incredibly grateful to the @tedxupangayouth team under International School of Tanganyika for believing that my voice and story are worth sharing.

To my friends, family, mentors and the Mimi na Jamii Foundation team, your support is greatly valued!🙏

Last week, I joined the African Union (AU) delegation at @uniceftz for a discussion on child protection and ending harmful practices affecting children in Tanzania, including corporal punishment in schools and child marriage.

It was an honour to engage with such a diverse group of delegates—especially fellow young people—who are committed to creating safer, more supportive communities where every child can grow, learn, and thrive.
