What an incredible night seeing Weird Al in Syracuse! He and his band are so talented and so much fun. It was Lila's first Weird Al show, though, technically she was in mommy's belly when we saw him a few years back. So many people stopped to compliment us on our costumes. She even got to meet Puddles, Weird Al, and R2D2! by @_mike_carroll

And here are the videos of our incredible experience seeing @theinterrupters at CMAC a few days ago. We are still amazed by the kindness that was shown to our Lila. The first video is her going on stage, singing a bit with @aimeeinterrupter, sharing some hugs, and talking. The second video is a collection of highlights of Aimee and Lila during the show. The rest of the videos are Lila and Priscilla singing along and a few of just The Interrupters doing what they do best. We are so grateful for everything. This was our one big family trip we had planned this summer and it was beyond what we could have ever dreamed of.

It was a fun fill Halloweekend for Sassy Cat, Daring Dog, and Silly Snake (costumes created by Lila!)! Trick or Treating and a Halloween themed party! 🎃 by @_mike_carroll

Happy Halloween! 🎃 by @_mike_carroll

Somehow I haven't shared this yet this year, one of my favorite videos I ever made. So anticipation of Halloween....enjoy 🎃

Also, an ultimate bucket list seeing it performed live earlier this year! by @_mike_carroll

In honor of Weird Al's birthday, here I am rockin a Weird Al shirt while looking the coolest I have ever looked 😂 by @_mike_carroll

Working on getting tons of videos off my computer and it made me realize I never shared anything from the other show the @rocksteadyexplosion played over the summer! Before the big reunion night time show, we started the day playing a benefit show for the Ithaca Free Clinic. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a great cause. It was also super special because it was the first time Lila and Priscilla got to see us play and my other family members were able to attend too! A huge thank you to AJ for putting us on the show and trusting us to bring some fun for our first show in 10 years! by @_mike_carroll

Still feeling pretty bummed I had to miss seeing Weezer a couple weeks ago. But I sure do love how Lila always draws me wearing a Weezer shirt for her school assignments! But, where are the dogs?! by @_mike_carroll

We weren't sure if we'd be able to make the @spcaoftompkinscounty March for the Animals this year with Mike's current health issues. But Lila was heartbroken at the idea and she hasn't missed a year since being born, and we haven't missed a year since coming back to Ithaca, so we knew we had to make it! Lila made sure each pet had a special costume. Darla did great around all the dogs, Pogo had a great time, and Shadow decided she didn't want to walk anymore (think she was boycotting the costume). Happy 25th March for the Animals to the Tompkins County SPCA! by @_mike_carroll

Earlier this week, Lila came home to find out that her favorite band, The Interrupters, had released a new song. She decided to make up a dance on the spot and had me record it. We posted it on Instagram, and the singer Aimee shared her video! by @_mike_carroll
