Great Day on this “Good Friday”

GMC ➡️ CR-V

I told my parents when I graduated from Alabama A&M University 🐶, “We don’t have to struggle like that anymore”! I STAND ON THAT❗️❗️

Let me rewind ⏪

God blessed me with the resources to purchase a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT in 2016 for my youngest sister’s first car. In 2019 I gave that same car to my parents after my sister upgraded since my parents motor went out in their car. When I gave my parents the ‘02 they were thankful and happy, but I already had a goal to do something bigger. I prayed that this car would last until that dream of “something bigger” became reality.

Let’s fast forward ⏩

Towards the end of 2022 my parents started having problems with the Grand Prix more frequently and I just prayed that God let it hang in there little while longer.

Well folks the good Lord did just that..
March 2023 I was able to purchase my parents a new vehicle with no financing to surprise them with.. leading up to this I was getting weekly updates on the Grand Prix and they weren’t good at all. I kept my secret from them as I continued to ask the Lord not to let them be without before I could do something.

When I realized what the dates were leading up to this I felt so much joy and it validated that the Lord was with me each step of the way.

On today, Friday April 7, 2023 I revealed this surprise to my parents and it feels amazing!! Never lose sight of your goals/dreams because the timing is not of our own, but of the most high.

I know this post may not mean much to some people, but for a young black man from a low income household of 6 that grew up with no financial guidance and that has faced sooo much adversity it means the world to me knowing my parents are blessed through me. This thing called success is very personal to me!

Always remember that when you’re blessed it’s meant for you to become a blessing to others 🙏🏾.

I hope this post motivates someone today.

It’s been a long and worthy journey. I’m very grateful for everyone that has helped get this done. by @_moneymanmk_

Ran into some solid folks 💯 and enjoyed seeing everyone having a great time.

My heart breaks for the tragedies that took place and I’m praying for those impacted by the disheartening situations 🙏🏾.
