Ohhhhhhhhhhh Free Spirit.
I’ve had the absolute privilege of working as studio manager for @freespiritdnc for the past nearly 3 years!
Free spirit is the place that I got to teach my first heels class, I got to direct two showcases, and, most importantly, I got to convince Theresa to paint an entire wall purple. 🙂‍↕️
Getting to say “I manage a dance studio” was a flex that I will miss.
I loved my time here. I’m so proud of my time here! Free spirit came into my life right when I needed it to, and I will forever be grateful. I got to meet some amazing people here and be a part of some pretty incredible things!
I will miss this job so much, but boy, am I excited for some sleep. 💜
Thank you thank you thank you! taken in Free Spirit Dance by @bazsimoe

Today marks two years since my life changed. Two years ago I was admitted into the hospital with severe pneumonia and an inability to breathe. This triggered a chain of events in my health deteriorating and I had honestly never been so scared. It’s been a long two years, with a lot of set backs, a lot of health issues and a lot of unknowns. I am so grateful to be here today, and be able to tell my story. And while I am still on a road of recovery I feel blessed to have healed this far.

My advice? Always listen to your body. If something feels wrong, it probably is. Be your biggest advocate, and drink more water!

stampede ‘26 🤠

I had so much fun teaching line dancing down on the grounds this year with @puddleofmudproductions at the @bmocanada community stage! Couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience stampede this year!

So proud of all of these wonderful performers who left their heart on the stage! Months of hard work, long rehearsals, lots of sweat, some tears, and never ending passion paid off!

I’ve spent the past year learning, growing and training through @acrodanceteachersassociation on my Intermediate Certification. Earlier this week (during the chaos of final week and year end showcases) I took my exam and today on my last day of the season, received the news of my latest achievement.

I am so grateful to continue learning, challenging myself, bettering myself for my students, and I cannot wait to continue on to the next level next season 🥰
