“Pain’s no longer holding you for ransom” - MP

I’ve been working on a lot of new music recently but it’s deeper than that for me. I’ve actually been working on becoming a better being, loving myself & others more & most importantly making room for the King of kings to rule through my life and I’ve been documenting these experiences so the new music I’ve been making is really my journal that hopefully will speak to you as much as it’s been speaking to me.

Whatever it is that you need or you’re going through you’re not alone.

God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason; to listen twice as much as we talk.

The job of a good producer is to understand the artist’s vision and help bring it to life.

A lot of times the artist can know exactly who they are and what they want and other times it’s our job as producers to hold up the mirror and remind them of what they possess deep inside.

On a side note: I feel so blessed to wake up & do what I was born to do on a daily basis and these guys remind me of that.. The work I do is more than “making hits” it’s actually about personal & relational transformation, healing, character development and overcoming crazy challenges on a regular. I wouldn’t change it for a thing.. to God be ALL the glory.

ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 Sooo your boy is currently in the process of writing an autobiography & I can’t wait to share it with you! It’s titled “More Than An Instrument” - Here’s a passage from Chapter 1:

“Before anyone ever asked my name, they asked me to play.
I was introduced by my ability long before I was known by my heart. Fingers on strings. Hands on keys. Voice in harmony. The gift arrived first, loud and undeniable, announcing itself in rooms I hadn’t yet grown into. And everyone celebrated it—teachers, churches, family, strangers. So did I.
Because when people clap for what you carry, it’s easy to believe that’s where your value lives.

I learned early how to perform presence. How to stand confidently, smile at the right moments, lift the sound just enough to move the room. I learned how to be useful. Needed. Applauded. I didn’t know it then, but I was slowly confusing calling with identity.

Somewhere between rehearsals and services, between Zimbabwe and the UK, between sacred moments and ordinary days, a quiet question began to form in me:
If the instrument went silent… would I still be enough?”

I’ll be dropping some teasers up until I’ve finished writing so keep an eye out. by @_mpsound_

The time has come for some UNITY!🤞🏾

Southampton showed up over the weekend! 🔥Loved sharing, teaching and building with the team.. for context I took a trip down to Southampton to pour into the worship team there accompanied by my amazing lil sibs, and believe me we left way more encouraged than how we came. God is doing something beautiful. by @_mpsound_
