There is no limit to the Savior’s capacity to help you. His incomprehensible suffering in Gethsemane and on Calvary was for you! His infinite Atonement is for you! I urge you to devote time each week—for the rest of your life—to increase your understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ took upon Himself your sins, your pains, your heartaches, and your infirmities. You do not have to bear them alone! He will forgive you as you repent. He will bless you with what you need. He will heal your wounded soul. Russell M. Nelson

"Irrespective of age, we mourn for those loved and lost. Mourning is one of the deepest expressions of pure love. It is a natural response in complete accord with divine commandment.

"Thou shalt live together in love, insomuch that thou shalt weep for the loss of them that die."

Moreover, we can't fully appreciate joyful reunions later without tearful separations now. The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life".

🕊️🤍May our dear God be with you always Nana til we meet again. Though I am not physically there to bid thee farewell, know that I will always treasure the memories I have of you, we love you forever & always Mama 💔❤️ Thinking of all our dearest Afega family. Last night during Family Home Evening, a vivid memory resurfaced, a tearful morning that affirmed the veil between worlds is incredibly thin. My husband and I were navigating life's challenges, facing crossroads and weighty decisions. One particularly frustrating night, I fell asleep consumed by these thoughts.

I awoke in the darkness, and as I lay there, a familiar warmth enveloped me. Then, I felt her, her back pressed against mine, just as when I was a child and Grandma and I would sleep back to back to keep warm. I knew it was her because I heard her voice, not in my mind, but audibly singing her unwavering morning hymn: "Ua te’a nei le pogisā… ua oo mai lenei taeao. Ua tatou toe aulia mai, o mai a ina faafetai!" It felt like a morning of her serenade, but it was only a moment.

I sat up, looked around, and found the room still dark. Overwhelmed, I sobbed as I continued singing her beloved hymn, slowly comprehending the reality of what had just occurred. She was right there with me! I wept, burying my face in the pillow, longing to see, feel, or hear her voice again.

This unforgettable experience resonated deeply as I studied Psalms this week in the Old Testament.

Psalm 66:1-2: "Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands; Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious."

My grandmother instilled in me the importance of singing praises every morning. She was always joyful, teaching us about the Living God and that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Although not perfect, she knew that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can all find eternal joy and that through hymns of praise, we can receive divine assistance. 💕 #Psalms #praisehim🙌 #nana🕊❤️ by @_nyelfau

I grew up in a world full of cousins... they were literally siblings with different parents. 😂 But let me tell you, our group of cousins NEVER got up to any good. Lol We were a whole different level of mischievous! Trying to start up scraps with neighbours, fighting over absolutely NOTHING, running through bushes like we were being chased by the police, smoking grass (literally thinking we were little gangsters 😂), picking fruit that DID NOT belong to us, and wven sneaking into empty houses like we owned the place! LMAOOOO. And you wonder why our parents were so damn strict 👀😂😂😂

And speaking of our ulavale cousins group...my partners in crime lol... one of my DAY ONES, is cousin Alexis also known as Finau 😂 she was the ka'ka'i lol Definitely more like an older sister than a cous. We can still talk for days and laugh til we cry. Because of all the slef-destructive trauma we put ourselves through 🤣🤣 OMG im laughing through tears writing this. I love you my bestie. Thank you for always checkin in on me. Though we have memories to last us multiple lifetimes...I miss you and think we are due for another session of Koko & Jam-in Bun therapy lol

We might have grown up and gone our separate ways in life, but those childhood memories will always have a special place in my heart.Love you SO MUCH, cuz! Always here for you, through thick and thin. Happy Birthday, Nau! 🩷🥳 Alexis Asiata

P.S. I wonder how many of those childhood stories our parents STILL don't know about. Better we keep it that way! 🤣🤣 by @_nyelfau

Happy Father’s Day, Dad 🖤

Today we honour the fathers who have given so much for our individual families, the ones who are still here with us, and the ones who have passed on.

To the dads, grandfathers, brothers, cousins, uncles and all father figures who have loved, provided, sacrificed and stood by our families, thank you. Your love and the things you’ve done often go unnoticed, but they mean more than words can say.

Wishing our dear Papa & all the amazing dads a beautiful Father’s Day today. 💙 And to those we’ve lost, you are forever loved and remembered. by @_nyelfau

This came from our Seminary class this week. 🩷

We were in the Book of Psalms, and we talked about the many ways we can worship our Heavenly Father, not only through prayer and scripture, but through the gifts, talents, and words He has given us.

So I challenged my class to create something of their own: a song, a poem, or simply words from their heart that expressed their love and testimony of God. As I thought about the assignment, I realised I needed to do it too.

So I wrote this. I named it My Rock through the fire🔥

These words are personal to me. They come from my own life, my own faith, and the season I’m about to walk through. I don’t have all the answers, and I don’t know exactly what lies ahead, but I know who I can turn to.

The Lord is my strength.
The Lord is my rock.
The Lord hears my cries.
And the Lord is worthy to be praised.

So this is my little offering of worship to my Lord and King. 🙏🏽 My prayer is that somewhere in these words, someone else who may be going through their own battle will be reminded that they are not walking alone. 🩷🩷🙏🏽 by @_nyelfau

✨️ Sometimes we read the Bible about kings, battles, and ancient kingdoms and wonder, "What does this have to do with me?"

As I read these chapters the past week, I realized they're really about one question:

Who will I trust?

Ahaz trusted the world instead of God.
Israel slowly drifted away through small compromises. Hezekiah faced fear and impossible odds but chose prayer over panic. Josiah rediscovered God's Word and allowed it to change his heart before trying to change his nation.

Those same choices are before us today.

Every day we're invited to trust fear or faith... the world or God... our own understanding or His perfect wisdom.

The world tells us to rely on ourselves.
God invites us to rely on Him.

The world tells us to seek approval.
God calls us to seek His will.

The world changes every day.
God never does.

So whatever battle you're facing today, don't let fear be louder than your faith. Open the scriptures. Pray. Trust the Lord. He has been faithful throughout every generation, and He will be faithful to you.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)

🩷 Who we trust today will shape who we become tomorrow.

Nineteen years ago today, Mr Taisi Ofoia took me to the Hamilton NZ temple, where we were sealed for all time and eternity. 🩷

I reflect on that day with a heart full of gratitude for the covenants we've made, the family we've built, and the countless blessings the Lord has poured into our lives through every season.

Happy 19 years, my love. Thank you for choosing us, choosing forever, and walking this journey of faith by my side. Here's to eternity my darling. 🤍

Every life experience carries a lesson. We may not always understand why we go through certain challenges, joys, or trials, but each one teaches us something valuable. Often, the lessons we learn become the very thing that blesses someone else's life. By remembering our experiences and sharing the wisdom gained from them, we can offer hope, guidance, and encouragement to those who need it most. 🩷 #ministertotheone by @_nyelfau

This past weekend we celebrated a milestone that, as parents, we simply couldn't let pass by quietly, our beautiful daughter turning 21.

Truth be told, she wanted nothing for her birthday. No fuss, no big celebration. But sometimes as parents, our hearts won't allow that. Life's special moments deserve to be treasured, and reaching 21 is one of them.

With fewer than 80 family and friends gathered for a small dinner in her honour, we watched our daughter walk into the room looking absolutely stunning. More than that, we watched the incredible young woman she has become, kind, strong, humble, and loved by so many.

As I sat there watching her, the ABBA song "Slipping Through My Fingers" kept playing in my mind. It feels like only yesterday I was holding her hand, taking her to school, and wondering what her future would hold. Now she's 21, and the years have passed far too quickly.

With everything happening in my own health journey, I am reminded daily that tomorrow is never promised. Life is precious, and every moment matters. That's why this celebration meant so much. Not because of the dinner or the milestone itself, but because it was another opportunity to tell our daughter how deeply she is loved.

My darling girl, if there is one thing I hope you always know, it is this: you have brought immeasurable joy to our lives. We are so proud of the woman you have become, and no matter how old you get, you will always be our baby.

Happy 21st Birthday. May you always remember how loved, cherished, and celebrated you are.
