It isn’t just about the boots, the hat, or what you’re riding. It’s about knowing who you are, knowing where you come from, and standing proud in it.

The Black cowboy has always been about more than the arena. We bring our own style, our own story, and our own way of moving through this culture. And when you look around and see the people riding with you, you realize that’s where the real strength comes from — the community.

Proud to ride with @footlocker @nike and @blackcowboyco and be part of a new generation of Black cowboys finding our force and making our own lane.

I even have the cowboys acting out now 🤣🙂‍↕️🔥 #getlifted #viral #fyp #blackcowboy #steerwrestling by @_ohdatzz_reg

Juneteenth is more than a day in history—it’s a reminder of freedom, resilience, and the people who helped shape the American West.

Black cowboys have always been part of the story, even when history didn’t always give them the recognition they deserved. Their grit, skill, and determination helped build the traditions we still live today.

As a steer wrestler, I’m proud to honor that legacy. Every time I compete, I remember those who came before us and paved the way.

Happy Juneteenth. Here’s to remembering the past, celebrating progress, and continuing the ride. 🤠🖤❤️💚
