Last chapter of my 20s! 💃🏾 Am I sure? Had to recount. We’re all turning 29 this year right? Those born in ‘97 I mean 😂 Craaazzzyyyyyy!
.
Anyway, my Father has been outdoing Himself in my life, rolling things out little by little and I’m so grateful for His detailed meticulous care. I look forward to all He has planned!! ❤️❤️
.
I’m most grateful for the people God gave me and who have chosen to be a part of my life. Life would be so bland and too hard without you ❤️❤️ So THANK YOU!! LOVE YOU!!
.
I was super scared for my life in these pictures btw 😂 I know it doesn’t look like it, but I was shaking on the edge of that swaying boat in the middle of the deep blue sea! Even the photographer commented about the switches I was making between the “shaky girl” and “that girl” 😂 What an experience! 😮‍💨 by @_ohemaa___

For the number of times I’ve watched and still watch Home Alone, I just needed a picture with the house! 🥰
.
So thank you @jessyboadu ❤️❤️ for making the day happen and for the stunning pictuuuuuuuuuuures!! 😘😘

Anyway, let’s talk about August!!!!!!!! 🤸🏾‍♀️💃🏾🤸🏾‍♀️💃🏾 It’s that wonderful most special month ever!!! 💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️🥰🥰 by @_ohemaa___

See what the Lord has done.

A few years ago, I had a dream of a man I did not know proposing to me. I racked my brain with my best friend trying to figure out who this guy was 😂. After our effort proved futile, I laid it to rest and lived my life. However, about 5 days later, I was extremely giggly for some reason. I felt like I was looking forward to something really good. Again, I racked my brain trying to figure out why I was so hyper and excited. Unsuccessful at determining what myself and I were excited about, I laid it to rest and went to bed. The next morning the excitement continued and I genuinely wondered what was going on with me 😂.
Fast forward to the evening I met this wonderful young man, who initially annoyed me actually 😂 but almost immediately made it dissolve with the cutest smile ever flashed at me and made me feel like a teenager with a crush.
…I met the man in my dream. 🥰 And the rest is history.

This song was picked by him 🥰 and these pictures are from 2 years ago (as @jessyboadu insisted I emphasize 😂)
Main attraction for me is my hair. Aargh!!! I love big hair 😍😍😍

Warm? No. Stylish? Always 😘 by @_ohemaa___

As I step into my “Grown Woman Era”🥰, I’m grateful for all those who actively sought to make my birthday special.

I’m especially grateful for my inner circle, for their encouragement, for pushing me to heights I do not feel worthy of, for believing in me, for fighting for our relationships, for keeping me sane, for helping me regulate my nervous system, for keeping me company and for keeping me feeling loved. You’re the best.

Love,
Ohemaa 💕

Let’s talk about the fear of being seen! For some people it is a very real thing. But others might wonder, “Is there even such a thing?”
For some people, they hide for safety just as they did in childhood. This may be due to bad experiences on stage as a kid, or being hurt by others in the spotlight. And for some, they were told they were meant to be the background or were just generally left out. Whatever the story, the collective endpoint was that darkness became their dwelling place. And right into adulthood, hiding is all some of us know.

Today, even as you work the courage to show up, may you be patient with yourself, while simultaneously knowing that somewhere out there, someone is dying to see the beauty you, interact with the captivating personality you’ve been told you have and hear your voice sing them to sleep 😌
