Our native attires might not be suitable for every workplace or occasion, but we can always incorporate elements of them into our everyday lives instead of only bringing them out once in a while. What we wear represents so much. It can tell the world who we are, what we value, and where we come from, even before we open our mouths. #sacredmuse #digibyluda #luda #priestess #fashion by @_omisade_

Before white became a fashion statement, it already had meaning. 🤍 There’s just something about white that never really goes out of style. Clean, effortless and powerful, it has a way of making even the simplest outfit feel intentional. Interestingly, Ọ̀bàtálá has long been associated with white, symbolising purity, peace and clarity. And when you think about it, you see similar meanings attached to white across different beliefs and, of course, in fashion. From bridal wear to couture, tailoring and minimalist fashion, white has remained that colour you can never really go wrong with. So yes, our Òrìṣà had a colour palette too. 🤍 Today is Ọ̀sẹ̀ Ọ̀bàtálá, and I just couldn’t help but appreciate the fashion in it. Fashion has always been more connected to our history than we realise. #fashion #digibyluda #sacredmuse #priestess #luda by @_omisade_
I fell in love with fashion long before I realized i wanted to build a life around it. It started with being curious as a kid who would sew clothes for my dolls to learning it professionally, continuing to experiment, make and create designs, and eventually building Dígí. I’m glad that little girl who used needles and threads to sew clothes for her dolls is finally doing what she has always wanted. #fashion#digibyluda #sacredmuse #priestess #luda by @_omisade_
