New Kit Day! I've been struggling with finding good quality running shorts that don't ride up and crop tops that are supportive and won't chafe. @lndr has really delivered! I tested the shorts on a 42km trail run and and shorter road run and they were perfect for both. The crop top feels so good I actually think i could run without a shirt and not feel self conscious 🫣. They also offer a 30 day sweat test guarantee and their clothing is made from recycled yarn 🌏.
Use my 20% discount code if you wanna try them out! LNDR_0821 👌.

First official cancicross event ever! It was also the last one for the season as our Perth temps are starting to 🔥.
Olive and I got 🥈 place woman's long course. Mum of course held Olive back and was seriously struggling towards the end after a big training week. But i was super stoked with my pace, backing up the day after a 27km run 🤩. Thanks so much @wasleddogs for a great event!

First gravel Race at the @mt_marshall_gravel_grind this weekend. It was a fast and (kinda) flat course with gorgeous smooth gravel roads. A great day out riding with @jez_savage and @bipolar_in_transition . We definitely earned those beers and chips afterwards!
2nd in my age category and 9th female in the 100km. I'll take that for my third time on Gravel 🥳.

The finish line feels weren't mine to experience this year. A little side trip off a boardwalk early on 🫣 resulted in shin pain from 5km onwards. I did my best to problem solve and manage the pain. Until it got too unbearable. I limped into Walpole believing my run was over. Devastated and heartbroken I was convinced to have a shower and get my leg looked at and re-strapped. I was also offered a little something extra (IYKYN), and before I knew it I was leaving Walpole for Giant Tingle and feeling great! Sadly though the pain started to come back just before Tree Top Aid and I made the difficult decision to end it. I was just delaying the inevitable and was becoming very concerned about bone stress and long term injury. 176km and still 100 miles. Not a bad little hit out. I spent a good 70km of those with @nurserunnermother which was thoroughly enjoyable! She absolutely smashed her race and gained her second DW plugger 🥳.
So very grateful to @traily_aley_runner for crewing and all his love and support. The volunteers were phenomenal as always ✨️. And the event team were rock solid 🙏. Delirious West may have beaten me this year, but I will be back 🙌🩵.

What a ride! Came in carrying lemons and turned them into a Lemoncello Spritz 🍋. So grateful for an amazing year of friendship, running, travel and adventures. The memory bank is so full 🥰.

How was this a month ago?! I might be back running, but this morning out in #York for the #westcycle #canolaclassic was so much fun. My first cycle event and definitely won't be my last 🤩. Thanks for keeping me company @jez_savage . Really think I need a gravel bike.... 😆.
