Chicago premier media outlet @whatsthewordtv has had an ear to the streets for a while, helping promote artist just before the world sees them or immediately after. Recently, the “Build The Crib” platform dropped their annual “Chicago Artist To Watch” list for ‘26 and we think its pretty decent. A lot of fresh talent mixed with artist who have been holding it down for years as well.

@truestarchicago has been holding Chicago youth down in entertainment, journalism, and just opportunity for a min now. The well known and respected outlet has taken things up a few notches with the annual FROMTHEGO FEST that has drawn thousands of youth in one safe environment to share their talent, stories, and time with each other 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The night was also a moment for Lupe to reconnect with a few pioneers in Chicago from the rappers rapper, Mick Luter🔥🔥 (@mansaluter) to the flyest player, Yer Yer chanting (and creator) @theboyillinois !!
