NOMOQ JAWS was one of the first silhouettes we started working under 3D-printed footwear. What began as an experiment became the project that brought us together, each picking up where the last person left off.

@a.jaaz, Designer
“This project purely started out of curiosity back in 2022. Coming from traditional footwear, I had to unlearn a few things to understand how 3D printing reshapes design. No moodboards, no styling, just old-school making meeting industrial possibility. The winning moment was it getting listed on Zellerfeld”

@yash.3dp , Founder & Project Manager (@no_moq_ )
“JAWS was a bet on whether we could actually make this work, not just on screen but on foot. Most of my time went into keeping the loop tight between design, modelling and printing, and failing fast when a print didn’t flex the way we needed. Seeing a wearable pair come off the printer in TPU made the rest of what we’re building feel possible.”

@vijesh.3dp, 3D Modeller
“Modelling for print isn’t modelling for a render. Every surface had to bend where the foot bends and hold where it needs support. JAWS taught me to design geometry and material together.”

@akshay.kalllikada, Visualisation
“Started with a single-frame render and kept pushing it until it became something much bigger. Built, broke, changed, rebuilt and somewhere along the way, the project found its own rhythm. With JAWS, I wanted to build a world around the shoe and explore the places, movement, and work behind the object. Really enjoyed getting lost in the R&D sessions and seeing how far it has evolved.”

@yarkiman, Sound & FX
“I built the sound from scratch on Akshay’s animation. I wanted you to feel the material and motion, with every texture sitting inside the visuals, not on top.”

Beauty bits from a sit down sesh. Full YT link in bio.

Couple of months ago Ludic Playground made debut in Pune for the coolest event Maushi Day. The space was designed to showcase a bit of what Ludic’s Always At Play is about. Live screen printing, laid back sounds & seating all under a canopy of sliders. Smart use of factory rejected pieces.

Piknik recorded two sets for their YouTube channel. Known for taking music / artists outside club setting, they clearly have established certain aesthetic, which we tried to match with the space. The collaboration between Piknik & Maushi felt a lot familiar to work with. And that’s not very common.

Pune holds a special place in my life. And so does for Ishit, for our college life. It also where Deep Loni Frequency started in 2014 to share our music curation to the world. Absolute joy to share decks with Dawda since. Big love to everyone who showed up! Y’all know who you are ♥️

Washroom out. Steel frame up. Paint patches everywhere. And yes, that pipe is going to be a door handle 😅
Slowly getting there.

A little look behind the scenes of JAWS with @no_moq_ × @zellerfeld

Sharing a few frames, environment explorations and R&D experiments from the process - a mix of ideas that made it into the final piece, and a few that didn’t.

A lot of the project was about experimenting, breaking things, rebuilding, testing materials and lighting, playing with scale and movement, and slowly figuring out what kind of world the shoe belonged in.

Started with a single frame and kept pushing it from there. Really enjoyed getting lost in the details and seeing it evolve along the way. Such a pleasure working with such a creative and talented team.

just few months late to post.

I started studying relationship between footwear & 3D Printing back in 2020 or maybe earlier. It faintly made me realise it is ‘one of the future of footwear’ - no draconian size guides or symmetric shoes for asymmetric feet. It’s just your feet, it’s’ scan and the custom solution. This design, Jaws, was the learning grounds for myself & @yash.3dp.

Ofcourse, none of this possible without @zellerfeld
