After repeating the engagement story X number of times to our families and friends, here’s a quick run down of the story for all my teachergram internet friends! by @a.latte.elementary

Happy 1st day of school!!

If we’re counting my private school, VIPKID, daycare, substitute teacher, and SPED para days it’s year 9. If we’re only counting my public school teacher era, it’s year 4.

I’ll let you be the judge, am I a veteran teacher or a novice teacher? by @a.latte.elementary

Had to look extra hard for the joys during a full moon, red ribbon week, and Halloween! by @a.latte.elementary

October, you’ve been good! by @a.latte.elementary

Decided to go with something fancy and easy to pull together last minute with fancy things I already have. Also, not the same dog, but I thought the If You Give a Dog a Donut dog was close enough.

A haunted house teacher edition! This week itself was scary. by @a.latte.elementary

One day, I’ll remember to save this dress for a book character day costume, because teaching in October is a lot. It would have been a good one for this year since I’m just not feeling it. Shout to the group of kids from 3 years ago that noticed that I was dressed like her!

Also, thanks Chat GPT for making me look put together. Swipe to see the reality of today compared to Red Ribbon over the last few years. by @a.latte.elementary

Weekly joys!! This has been a tough year, but I’m counting my joys and small wins. by @a.latte.elementary

I said “YES” to the dress!!

5 boutiques and a 100 dresses later, I found the one at @davidsbridal 👰🏻‍♀️💍🤍 by @a.latte.elementary

Can’t decide what I want to be. Help a teacher out and drop your votes in the comments.

• Something classic (Corduroy, Madeline, or Rainbow Fish)

• Something current (Pete the Cat or How to Catch a Unicorn)

• Something fancy that goes with my bridal era or tired AF feeling (Fancy Nancy wedding or star gazing in pjs)

• Something Wicked (because their 23rd anniversary is on the same day as book character day) by @a.latte.elementary

Book Character parade is right around the corner!! Looking back at all my costumes from over the years, I realize that every character I’ve picked (or accidentally dressed up as on pj day) is from the 90s and early 2000s. by @a.latte.elementary
