Is urban living in these chaotic centers an actual myth we have all been fed so that we continue feeding our ever hungry economic engines? #home by @a.speck.of.dust

Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe and the Cape peninsula at the tip of South Africa had every element that the planet offers us. Every visit to Africa brings out something extraordinary, and this time was pretty far from any exception as well. It was indeed a tapestry of countless aspects of nature one could ask for, and thanks Megan, for co-exploring yet another set of coordinates! by @a.speck.of.dust

Coordinates where the lines between reality and imagination blurred. Or maybe fully faded away. by @a.speck.of.dust

Immensity of mountains, breathtaking landscapes, therapeutic rain forests, fascinating local stories, and amazing people to travel with! It was not the Savannah this time, but a lot more that I had not imagined we would witness :)

Kilimanjaro and Arusha are going to stay a very, very long time in our hearts :) Thanks so much, @msafiri_mzalendo , Teddy for being such lovely hosts and taking us through the tales of your region! @megannmckinnon , what a wonderful traveler you are! So glad that you could make it with such a short notice, and surely Kili would make us visit again! 😊 by @a.speck.of.dust

Hello, East Africa. Good to see your wonderful colors again! :) by @a.speck.of.dust

There's something extraordinarily spiritual about this part of the planet. The Western Ghats.

Planetary history says it's more than 100 million years old and formed when the Indian subcontinent got separated from Madagascar - quite a phase in the evolution of the planet. Now, every year, when the region is drenched from Monsoon, suddenly the sounds and visuals transform into something indescribably beautiful. And we get a tiny, tiny, tiny glimpse of this, as nature embraces us with all our audacity and ungratefulness towards what we have.

Tales of everyday life emerge here in the western ghats, as the feathery layers of a morning unwrap. Slowly. Delicately. Ethereally.

The unfathomable beauty of the Western Ghats. Yet another year fades into the past and there aren't many soulful places than the Ghats to sit and bid adieu to it.
