The reading literacy add-on is the secret sauce of The Educ8ted Athlete Academy. 👀📚🏀 One of the biggest advantages we offer is access to a literacy specialist who will be on-site helping every student-athlete improve their: 📖 Reading comprehension 🧠 Critical thinking ⚡ Processing speed 🎯 Communication skills And yes… we know stronger literacy skills often translate to higher athletic IQ. Athletes who can read, process, understand, and react faster have an advantage on the court and in the classroom. That’s why we’re intentional about developing the complete student-athlete, not just the basketball player. 💬 Comment “READING” if you want information on our reading literacy program. 💬 Interested in The Educ8ted Athlete Academy? What does it look like to be a part of The Educ8ted Athlete Academy? 👀 It looks like helping student-athletes become the best version of themselves. 📚 Academic growth 🏀 Athletic development 🧠 Independence 🎯 Goal setting 💪 Accountability 👑 Leadership Because the goal is bigger than sports. We want student-athletes who can think for themselves, advocate for themselves, lead others, and be prepared for whatever comes next. Athletics may open the door, but education, character, and life skills help keep it open. That’s what The Educ8ted Athlete Academy is all about. 💬 Comment “ZONE” for more information. #TheEduc8tedAthlete #DoWhatYouDoWell #StudentAthleteSuccess #AcademicExcellence #LeadershipDevelopment by @a_clay_12
Most programs train athletes. We’re building Educ8ted Athletes. The truth is that talent alone isn’t enough anymore. The athletes who separate themselves understand how to think, learn, prepare, recover, and perform at a high level both on and off the court. That’s why we created The Educ8ted Athlete Academy, built around 8 pillars that develop the complete student-athlete. 🏀 ATHLETIC PILLARS 1️⃣ Healthy Mindset Mental toughness, confidence, and self-awareness. 2️⃣ Detailed Repetition Intentional reps that build elite habits and consistency. 3️⃣ IQ Development Learning how to think the game, not just play it. 4️⃣ Recovery Understanding that performance requires preparation, rest, and recovery. 📚 ACADEMIC PILLARS 5️⃣ Academic Identity Because student comes before athlete. 6️⃣ Personalized Pathway Every athlete has a different journey and blueprint. 7️⃣ Literacy & Comprehension Higher reading skills create higher-level thinkers and decision-makers. 8️⃣ Individual Blueprint A customized development plan built around the athlete’s goals, strengths, and future. We’re not interested in creating athletes who only perform today. We’re developing young people who can lead, learn, adapt, and succeed for life. Because the best athletes aren’t just trained. They’re Educ8ted. Comment ZONE for more information. 🔥 #Educ8tedAthlete #StudentAthleteDevelopment #BasketballTraining #AthleteMindset #SportsIQ by @a_clay_12
