Not an influencer, just a woman in #corrections trying to prioritize her #wellness while navigating life’s changes.

Sharing a little self-care and some love with my community. ✨

My why’s and pieces of mi corazón

There are no words to adequately express how much I love y’all 💛 by @a_its_ness

Did you know that when CDCR institutions host Food Sales for the incarcerated population, 100% of the funds raised are donated to local organizations?
It’s a meaningful way to give back to the communities we serve.

This week, we had the honor of delivering checks to @bgcvacaville and @bbbsgreatersac . Food Sales are a lot of work for staff, so I have to give a special shoutout to the dedicated team who made it happen!

I came in late in the game, but had the privilege of selecting this year’s recipients. It was an absolute honor to support the meaningful work both organizations are doing, and of course, I had to tap into my roots with BBBS. 🫶🏽

“You look happy, mija. There is a new shine in your eyes”
Words from my loving mother after seeing recent photos of me 🥰

I am glowing differently since choosing ME.

S/o to my incredible squad for helping me fix my crown. #a1

On this birthday, I confidently know:

- my inner child is so proud of how far I’ve come
- having access to me is a privilege
- kindness and inner work is sexy
- let people think what they want
- dust settles. I don’t.

Finally getting around to my #BOTB post.

What an unforgettable experience!
And to think this has been on my #bucketlist for 11 years 🤭

🥊 @united_combat_association @battle_of_badges was so much more than just a fight—it was a journey that changed me. Along the way, I realized I didn’t want to become outcome-dependent. Instead, I wanted to focus on the process: building my mindset, embracing the experience, letting the advice of my gym mates sink in and having fun in the ring. Sometimes, I’m too serious 🧐😖

✨A huge thank you to my fierce opponent @iamjacquelyndiana ; it was an honor to share this challenge with you. I appreciate the pink patch!

🥊Immense gratitude to my gym mates, my coach @undergroundlabfc , and every incredible supporter who rallied behind me - whether you were there, bought a tee, sent me a text or DM… you are truly appreciated!

✨Super special s/o to my right hand woman/seestur @jazzyvandyke who helped me with my @sideactionapparel fight shirt sales from beginning to end. BIG thank you to @ccwa_sacramento_hq @ccsocacorrections for their sponsorship 🫶🏽

🥊Fam, together y’all helped me raise $3,000 for @iversonfaa to support first responders’ mental health—a cause close to my heart. The funds went to @hearts4heroesusa - who will be facilitating the placement of a therapy dog for local firehouse. How incredible is that?!

✨Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. Here’s to the fight, the purpose, and the community we’ve built.

✨💪🏽Cheers to using your platform for positivity 💪🏽✨

The entire fight with commentary is on YouTube if you’d like to check it out🙃 by @a_its_ness

This should be fun.

💛One very gnarly January🤯 by @a_its_ness

If you don’t know what to pursue in life right now, pursue yourself.

Pursue becoming the healthiest, happiest, most healed, most present, most confident version of yourself.

Then the right path will reveal itself.
