Watch your breath ~ 🤍

My body whispers a plaintive plea,
Each ache a cry for empathy
Pain that grips the mind's domain,
Pushing me to seek refuge within

Moments of respite I desperately eye,
An inhalation of love or a liberating cry

As I set free pain’s unrelenting grip,
A silence of another moment had creeped
That moment as if a conspired scheme
A ripping of the cloak all-seam

A sudden invasion of an unwavering breath,
where life seized control, despite a seek for rest

Popped a pill, quite literally 💊

Obviously I didn’t pop a pill for real. But yesterday, I just experientially understood why Sadhguru says that why need the help of outside substances when the substance already lies within!

Visited the Shree Shree Anandamayi Maa’s Ashram in Delhi yesterday, after my friend @ishita.a.sharma gifted me her book just a day before. Had she not told us stories of Maa’s magical appearance into this world, we wouldn’t have rushed to come and see her.

Since almost a year and a half some people, one way or the other, have been leading me to her and my resonance and draw towards her kept growing bit by bit. But never came a moment where I wanted to physically come to soak in her presence. But so grateful for @iampragyansh 🙇🏻‍♀️ who found that such a place even exists in Delhi and pushed @anand_vir_ bhaiya and myself to get our butts out in freaking 7 degrees Delhi winter. It was probably the fire of her love that pulled us in and allowed us to experience something so profound and beyond the bounds of logic ❤️‍🔥✨

Devi’s presence that feels more like an overwhelming torrent of love, energy and compassion to me most of the times, became a gateway to ecstasy, further leading into a deep state of silence in Maa’s embrace. The effortlessness of her presence can’t be described - but really needs to be experienced. Cold butts undoubtedly returned with warmest hearts. If you’re in Delhi and especially a meditator, you must visit here 🙏🏼

A caretaker of the ashram very beautifully said that “Maa used to say that anyone who comes across her has definitely been touched by her in some lifetime” and I cannot agree more. Although a part of me understands how beautifully conspired Maa’s entry had to be in my life - but the kid in me really wants to ask her that “Where have you been all this while Maa?” 🥹🙇🏻‍♀️🌺❤️🪔🙏🏼

Ashram is one of those rare social places where these guys walk around as if you have invaded their space 😅 (which is true)

So chana treat was a must 🦚🤍

The one that knows how to act is Vidhya,
but the one that acts after knowing oneself is Mahavidhya

When she walks in in the form of poetry via cute friends like @ishita.a.sharma 😄🤝🏻❤️ (next slide ✨)

Some experiences are so profound that verbal expression also fails to justify them. Even though this wisdom is a living reality within me, mostly not finding the need for extensive articulation - it still manifests in tangible ways like “these” that affirm its presence. And now I’m at a point where I just find myself connecting the dots, rolling my eyes and simply smiling at these occurrences 😄🙇🏻‍♀️💛✨🫶🏼

Couldn’t go to the Tarapith,
so she decided to come home instead 😭🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏼❤️🌺

During my journey to Nepal last year, Maa Tara entered my life like a sudden monsoon shower in the parched desert of my existence. She seemed both otherworldly yet so familiar. Her entry into my life has been the smoothest till date as I don’t even recall the exact moment she secured such a significant spot in it. And ever since my return, I have found myself in love and captivated by her essence, stealing fleeting moments just to bask in her divinity.

That’s why Tarapith in West Bengal had been beckoning me for some time, yet I felt guided to embrace patience, allowing the meeting to unfold naturally. Despite my deliberateness to maintain the pace, reminders of the her persist.

Life is such that it often reassures us that what we seek is also seeking us! It may whisper itself through people, situations, echoes in quotes, and reveals itself in unexpected moments - sometimes even disastrous ones, and perhaps even arriving at our doorstep. Such is the enchantment of existence: a paradoxical symphony of chaos and harmony, where every detail aligns in its perfect order.

Although her feet had a cherished space in my heart but now Maa's Charan Paduka occupy a loved place in my temple also. 🙇🏻‍♀️🥹❤️🙏🏼🌺🪔

I love Red but I still avoid wearing it much 🌹

I wore red in a very long time. Just yesterday I told myself that as much as I love Devi and all shades of her Reds, I can’t wear them much these days for some reason. Red, like the flame of Devi’s passion, makes me feel too fiery and vulnerable. Unless I’m not into specific processes, my body doesn’t allow me to go for this colour.
Over time I’ve come to notice the intricacies that are intertwined in our color choices with the ebbs and flows of life. That’s what nudges me to instinctively choose colors based on the energy ongoing life situations demand. So Red emerges mostly when I seek to balance the scales.

There may be some who, after reading this may feel that “if one wants one can rise above such limitations” and I 100 percent agree with that. But at the same time I also realise that for most people there is a process to get to that point, and we all need to explore the intricacies of life our own way. Remember: it’s a very different process for everyone, as no two people are the same.
So here’s a gentle reminder from me to all and especially to those who may feel tired of chasing the idealistic version of themselves — “You are Unique. Your process is supposed to be Unique. Let that sink in and allow yourself to honour your unique spiritual process.” 🌬️

Speaking of Red, I wanted to talk about Linga Bhairavi.
So many of us are aware that we have Linga Bhairavi Temple coming up in Bengaluru, Karnataka. There’s endless things to talk about her, but for now we’ll just jump to the main bit.

If at all you feel that the divinity of the feminine has touched you in whatever big or little way, please donate for the upcoming Linga Bhairavi Temple in Bengaluru. It’s not the magnitude of the contribution that matters, but the willingness to partake in something greater than ourselves. So please donate how much ever you happily can.
Donation link is in my bio 🙏🏼🙇🏻‍♀️❤️🌹

Also, what a song man!! Fully dripping Devi ❤️🥹🫶🏼✨💕

Ever heard of someone who manifested loosing their own phone? 😄

Well now you know one. It was me who asked for it moments before it actually happened.

“But why would anybody ask for such things?”

I would just like to say that when you choose to keep nature’s intelligence above your limited one, it will ask you to consciously or subconsciously act in ways that might seem utterly nonsensical to people around you or even to your own logical mind. But this is how my life works - Divine takes the front seat and I just sit back, relax, get my popcorn and watch the show.

We went to Neem Karoli Baba’s Samadhi in Vrindavan that day. For those who still haven’t been to the Ashram - the place is bursting with energy as soon as you enter - starting with a Devi Temple, a Shiva Lingam, next to which is a powerfully consecrated Hanuman Temple and a Siya Ram Temple. As you go further inside, the first thing you lay eyes upon is his Samadhi Sthal (the place where Baba took Samadhi). Next to that is the room where he stayed, another one where Siddhi Maa stayed and a room that is full of short stories talking about Baba’s entire journey from his birth to the day he took Samadhi.

It started from the Hanuman temple, as we sat down to meditate and I would tuck my phone inside my jacket just to keep it safe. Somehow I was still conscious of it as a lot of people were coming. Still managed to sit in silence for a good while. But as I opened eyes, I once again reassured that the phone was still there. As we finished having darshans of all other shrines, I finally took the opportunity to spend some time meditating at his Samadhi Sthal. I don’t know for how long I must’ve sat there but in his presence I just felt extremely light. Nothing that I call as mine mattered in that moment. And the first thing I said to him as I opened eyes was that “If this is how you make me feel, it doesn’t matter even if this damn phone is taken.”

These waves will be forever etched into my soul
This wind forever kissing my skin in it’s gentle sway
These shrubs forever rooted within my feet
These clouds and blue sky forever imprinted upon my irises
These birds forever echoing in my ears
These ants forever dancing around my toes
These butterflies forever fluttering past my hair
This sun forever soothing my soul
This lake forever swallowing my body
Kept within always
