"itamae 板前)" which translates to "in front of the board" and describes a skilled sushi cook working in front of a cutting board. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Lonely Ghost" Not sponsored, but wish I was haha. The walk through this place can't really be put into words and the pictures don't fully justify it. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Sand Stairs" Really like this photo as it is one of the few candid photos I had of friends in the canyon. Having actual people/subject in the picture somehow disrupts the natural flowing pattern of the rocks and creates a great contrast. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"From the Ashes" This one's unique as it's not just waves. Really like the contrast between the "newer rock" and the rock that has formed over millions of years of erosion. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Mountain Side" This is actually a viewpoint in the canyon where you look directly up and it looks like a mountain/the Rockies, but it's actually just a rock formation sticking out the side of the wall getting hit with light and forming shadows. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Silk Sands" The Sony A7IV/Tamron 28-75mm was the setup I used and I'm just in awe of the colours and texture. It looks so soft to touch but it's really just all rock. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Ride the Wave" Been itching to post these next few. Got the opportunity to visit Lower Antelope Canyon back in May and all of the pictures are just eye candy. The pictures speaks for themselves but just look at the texture and the light. It's a photographers paradise. The ridges look like mini mountains. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Lover's Arch" Just so happened to clip someone else's wedding shoot while in Sedona. Whoever you two are, you guys looked great. Wondering if a black suit would've worked better here. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Cliffhanger" In Sedona, captured on our way to Subway Cave. It's amazing how shrubs and plants can grow on the rocks. Makes for a really nice pictures displaying the contrast between the red and green. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Rock Collection" Couldn't pick one so had to show off my rock collection. Apparently the red colour comes from a mineral that oxidized called hematite formed over 300 million years and we're just lucky enough to see it. Caught these pictures during sunset and the lighting was perfect. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Headlights" Was so lucky to capture this deer with beautiful antlers posing perfectly for the shot. I know we have these in Ontario, but something about seeing it in wild made it so much cooler. by @aaronhou.jpeg
"Crooked Lines" At Red Rocks, really liked this picture of the crooked lines the fences made. I think this is what they call leading lines in photography? Either way, it's good to be back to posting. Will have to catch up! by @aaronhou.jpeg
