First glimpse of summer by @abbeyy_rosee

One year ago today I lost one of the most influential people who has ever and will ever touch my life. Someone once told me that when someone dies, you unknowingly absorb a piece of them and parts of them become parts of you. Whether it be small habits or things they would say. Since my grandmother left I see so much of her in my mother, my grandfather, the people around me, but also in myself. I hear her voice in my head all the time as I remember what she would’ve said in any given situation. Things she used to say which at the time sounded crazy to me now make all the sense in the world. I see parts of her and who she was everywhere. Grief is funny because some days it feels like she’s been gone ten years, other days it feels like it just happened ten minutes ago, and on days like today, it feels like I’ll still find her sitting where I’ll always remember her, in her TV chair. What gives me the most joy is knowing that the next time she opens her eyes, she will be staring at the face of Jesus. And how beautiful is that! by @abbeyy_rosee

Belated grad photos to celebrate finishing my internship today🥲✨

These past nine months have been some of the best of my life and ones that I will never forget. I’m so blessed for the memories made and friends who have become family both at MSU and TCFD. I’m am forever grateful and changed. Next up… MT-BC and an MA in Music Therapy!!!

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’”Matthew 19:26
