@jonasbrothers and @switchfoot in one weekend in Philly 💃

Like 2008 but so much better. I didn’t meet my husband until 2010. A weekend like this wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without him ♥️

And both bands get better year after year. Thanks guys for great shows and for an excuse to get a weekend away!! by @abbybarstow

Just @jonforeman climbing to the second level at @fillmorephilly. Every @switchfoot show I see becomes my new favorite live show 👏😂 by @abbybarstow

@jonasbrothers at @xfinitymobilearena in Philly.

We were nerding out over the set, special effects, and tech. Seth immediately identified the board they were using. 😂 by @abbybarstow

Hey @jonasbrothers and @switchfoot in case you hadn’t noticed (but maybe you already did 👀) you will both be in Philadelphia the weekend of October 2nd. I checked your schedules and you could totally do guest appearances at each other’s shows. Wanted to make sure you didn’t miss the opportunity to play together! 🤪🤣👏

Sincerely,
all millennial fans who have tickets to both shows that weekend ✨

Needed a creative brain break between work projects so it was time for a side quest!

I’m not procrastinating, it’s a side quest 😜😅

This is a super chronic illness friendly one unless you are in a brain fog flare up. Totally okay to save it for a clearer day! by @abbybarstow

On a mission to make our rental home more colorful this summer. Here’s what I’ve done so far >>>

I put these on the upper part of the windows. Super easy to install and that’s coming from a POTS girlie. Just search “colorful transparent window film” on amazon. I found a bundle of assorted colors on Amazon and put them on in my own color block pattern but you can find some that are just sheet with pretty patterns.

This one was the most expensive but was totally worth it. With chronic illness, having a bed that makes one happy is a must! Still searching for an affordable set of colorful gingham sheets to alternate with the yellow plaid.

Still accessorizing this but it did add a fun playfulness to the coffee counter! Think Seth would let me colorify the Nespresso somehow??

My new favorite place to work in the mornings is right there even in the not so comfortable chairs because it feels so magical coming down to this golden light in the mornings!

On the list:
🛋️ affordable, colorful area rug for living room (search by for one under $200 that is around 9x12 😅 and NOT a washable one because I hate the quality of them)
🖼️ updated, colorful art for the living room
💜 I’m obsessed with the idea of a lilac/lavender piece of furniture. Hubby isn’t totally on board so send me ideas. Also open to doing like a bold blue piece of furniture. by @abbybarstow

Sometimes I seem contradictory to myself. 🤷‍♀️

I also have like no good recent photos of myself. The plight of being the one who always takes the photos of others 🤣 and feeling crummy so not wanting to be in front of the camera. by @abbybarstow

Random, whimsical side quests part 1: Songs my friends said remind them of me ✨

I got the idea for this project from @let.me.luce who is doing a similar side quest activity. Even got this side quest idea from her 🫶

I have been so blessed to have you by my side for fifteen years, thirteen married. We met in youth group at @victorychurchpa and the rest is history ✨

We have not always gotten things right but we continue to choose each other through it all. I love you 😘 @sbarstow93 by @abbybarstow

Don’t let your diagnosis steal your whimsy ✨🌸

The whimsical trend brings me joy on the days my chronic illness tries to take me down. by @abbybarstow

Sloppy lettering and all, this is what popped in my head when @brookeribbans was leading Mighty Name of Jesus at @victorychurchpa Lititz this morning 💗
