It was such a joy to see @seanmcverry seanmcverry opening the @wearescientists show at @thetroubadour last weekend, and I’ll have to catch him the next time he comes through Seattle.

🤘🤘🤘

Traveled down to Los Angeles to photograph @wearescientists as part of their celebration of 20 years of ‘With Love and Squalor’ at @thetroubadour. It was an unbelievably cool night ☺️

I’m still reeling from being able to photograph @wearescientists at @thetroubadour last weekend for the 20th anniversary show of With Love and Squalor ON MY birthday, and I’m just catching up on photos from that night (I took over 2100 haha). Truly one of the most unforgettable shows of my life and I’m so thankful I got to be there with old friends and made new friends. 🫶

May the Sci-Cave live forever 🤘

Time for a little blast back in time to 2018, the last time the Gorge saw @sasquatchfestival. Even eight years later, this week is always filled with fond memories of the place that turned me into the photographer I am today 💜

I realized I never posted the new photos from the TWO TIMES I got to see @lostlanderband in January. It was an absolute blast getting to see those guys again in Seattle at @thesunsettavern then again at @revolutionhall in Portland opening for @typhoonfamilyvacation.

It’s been a minute since I’ve gotten to photograph any band from a pit and it’s been even LONGER since I’ve seen Lost Lander so it really was such a good weekend 💜💜💜

finding joy right now can be incredibly difficult, but for me live music has always been a place of calm, catharsis, and community. last weekend we took a mini road trip to Portland for @typhoonfamilyvacation’s 20th birthday at @revolutionhall and god was it a celebration. I’ve been a fan of this band since I saw them in the middle of a hot day at the Sasquatch Festival in 2011, and the last time I saw them was the very end of the very last Sasquatch in 2018, so I was due for seeing Typhoon again, because their music has become such a huge part of my life. it was truly such an energizing evening that I was so excited to edit all of these photos. 🖤🖤🖤

another nostalgia post so soon? but this one goes back even FURTHER into my archives, going all the way to 2011 when I was still quite a baby photographer jumping from Bumbershoot to Musicfest Northwest in Portland back to back. I think the first time I saw @lostlanderband was at the Doug Fir during that same festival, and for the next few years I was at every Seattle/Tacoma gig they had. You can even see how my watermark and editing style changed over the years ☺️

And this week I get to add two more gigs under my belt for the first time in over a decade when they play the @thesunsettavern on Thursday and then again this weekend when Josh and I are driving to Portland to see them play with @typhoonfamilyvacation!

see y’all in a couple days! 💚💚💚

if you’ve never been to @rabbitboxtheatre, you’re missing out. Good food, chill vibes, good drinks, easy parking at Pike Place, AND good music? I went to see my friends @sammillermusic and @mattbadgermusic play there Saturday night and it was a real treat. You should go listen to their stuff. ☺️

at the same @blk.ldg.sea show as my previous post, @mightyactionesse got the band back together! 🥹 Seriously it was so much fun and I missed my friends a whole lot. 💜
