I remember a time when I was afraid of committing to God fully and to His plans for my life, because I knew what I’d have to give up.

I did everything I wanted to do, yet gained nothing at all. In fact I lost a lot more than I had bargained for.

And there I was, living in constant fear of being spewed out for being lukewarm, not knowing if it would be my last night sometimes as I’d drink myself to sleep… but I knew I could only do that for so long… as I was a child of covenant.

God used my stubbornness against me and guided me to the place of TOTAL surrender. That is one of the greatest acts of love I’ve ever witnessed.

Yenno what my takeaway was? I was actually doing it to myself and not loving myself as He loves me.

Moral of the story, I know you’re tired of living a lukewarm Christian walk… what are you so afraid to give up? And don’t you know that thing you’re holding onto so tightly would give you up in an instant?

Heaven and earth will pass away, but the Word of God will never pass away.
You’re not too far gone. God is waiting for you eagerly.
