HER LOCKDOWN DAIRY
Author- @abletsgolive

About the Book 📚

A non fictional diary which depicts the 21 days tale of her broken heart during the first wave of pandemic. According to psychology, it has been said that anyone can form their habits by completing a task for 21 days in a row. During the pandemic, being locked within her apartment, she started believing this 21 - day myth to sooth her broken heart and she started to pen down her thoughts every night.

Is closure really important in a relationship? - Set against the backdrop of the global pandemic, this is what makes 'Her lockdown diary' so breathtakingly real - a tale from one of the world's amateur storytellers.

When people are looking at the rising moon through their decorated sieves, I still love to hunt for the autumn moonrise with my pumpkin soup and halloween candles 👻 …#halloween2026 by @abletsgolive

After a long time I got some time for journaling and being a complete foodie, I want to start this one with Polish cuisine… I have been to Poland several times since 2024, and every single trip makes me fall in love with the food all over again! Coming from India, the flavors in Poland, are so different from what I grew up with, but I’ve completely fallen for traditional Polish cuisine.
Here are some of my absolute favorite dishes and drinks to have whenever I’m in Poland:
1. Pizza z Ogórkiem Kiszonym 🍕 - Pizza topped with pickles! It sounds unusual at first, but the flavor combo is delicious.
2. Zapiekanka 🥖 - A crispy toasted baguette loaded with mushrooms, melted cheese, and plenty of ketchup. Ultimate street food!
3. Pierogi 🥟 - Soft, warm dumplings stuffed with savory fillings and topped with crispy onions. Pure comfort in a bite! I can make them now at home 🏡 too ;)
4. Barszcz z Kołdunkami 🥣 - A vibrant beetroot soup served with tiny, flavorful dumplings.
5. Kaczka Pieczona z Żurawiną 🍗 - Tender roasted duck paired with a sweet cranberry sauce. Such a rich and tasty dish!
6. Żurek 🍲 - A classic, slightly sour soup that feels like a warm hug in a bowl. Try them with boiled eggs.
7. Grochówka 🥣 - A thick, hearty split pea soup cooked with smoky meat and root veggies.
8. Kotlet Schabowy 🥩 - A crispy, golden breaded cutlet served alongside fresh salad and potatoes.
9. Jagodzianka 🫐 - A soft, sweet pastry bun packed to the brim with wild blueberry filling!
10. Pączki 🍩 - Fluffy Polish donuts dusted with powdered sugar and filled with sweet jam.
11. Kompot 🥤 - A classic, refreshing homemade drink made by simmering sweet fruits like berries and plums. It pairs perfectly with any meal! I could not manage to fit the picture of Kompot because of the square frames 🥲in Insta..
Exploring all these flavors has been such a joyful journey!

It’s not a common thing for me to make adhoc plans. But yesterday we did it anyways. I have heard a lot about flower carpet in the past years, but this was my first time and I admire the efforts of those who made this beautiful piece of art. #belgium #flowercarpet2026🇧🇪 #brussels by @abletsgolive
