Lafayette 🔒, Lincoln 🔒, Liberty 🔒, Flume 🔒.

📍Wabanaki (Dawnland Confederacy), N’dakini (Abenaki / Abénaquis) and Pequawket Native Lands.

Bike path on the dark from The Basin to Old Bridal TH. All the seasonal torlets have been boarded up to back to relying on OBP, covered bridge, & Lincoln Woods for 2nd 💩 needs on the Kanc side.

Took less than 15min going up to pass a couple blasting a speaker. 0615 on a Tuesday morning, just can’t escape the wankers on Franconia Ridge.

Didn’t sleep well last night and my recovery definitely suffered. Struggled on the climbs, knees weee sore and feet uncertain on the descents.

Needed my rain jacket in the alpine for wind protection but did fine ina tshirt and shorts everywhere else. A few scattered sprinkles but nothing needing gear for.

A few randos on the ridge then no one until a solo hiker coming back from Flume.

At the bottom of Liberty Springs trail saw a dude through a trees with a huuuuge (80L+) pack with a bright green rain cover on, he was also carrying crutches. AT SOBO, trail name Crutches (go figure) who left Katahdin mid-September and had just made it to Franconia Notch. He was in good spirits and grateful for his journey.

I walked back to my car at Old Bridge but swung back by the AT & Flume lots to see if Crutches needed a ride into Lincoln but didn’t see him. I want sure what his plan was, seems like he didn’t either.

Winter, so far, had been holding off, but won’t last that much longer. Good luck dude!

4 new peaks gridded, 21 total, 43.8% of the way there! Over to the Presi’s next week 🤞

8 down, 20 to go for November😤

Zealand 🔒, Twins 🔒, Hale 🔒

📍Wabanaki (Dawnland Confederacy), N’dakini (Abenaki / Abénaquis) and Pequawket Native Lands.

Absolutely stunning day with great conditions in the Northern Pemi. Warm humid breeze coming out of Zealand Notch had me in shorts and a tshirt early and that worked all day.

Some moody clouds and a little colour for sunrise.

Quiet day, only a handful of people on N Twin Trail before the summit and a few on Hale Brook below the summit. 1 other gridder taking advantage of the seasonal roads still being open and getting the northern peaks & Bonds.

4 peaks gridded, 17 total, 35% of the way there! Western Pemi peaks tomorrow.

4 down, 24 to go for November😤

My biggest concert regret was not seeing more R40 shows. So when the unimaginable happened and @rush went back on the road I knew I needed to take full advantage.

After all, we don’t get many opportunities to “live it all again”.

Thank you for 4 magical nights @geddyimages @thereallerxst @anika.nilles @lorengold. 🙏

“Who wears short shorts? You wear short shorts.
You’re so full of shit
Why don’t you admit that you don’t have the balls to be a queer.”

Made a point of covering this song in Antigonish because we knew it would shock and piss off people on that narrow minded redneck town.

Missing the Kazoo Master T and Kazoo Master P duet.
