“Pray without ceasing.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ by @abosede_odebode
“Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 KJV If you like, keep believing the lie of the devil that raising a praying child is somehow the reason we have a bad economy. Teach your children to pray. Teach them the Word. Teach them integrity, wisdom, diligence, discipline, and the fear of God. We should not stop raising godly children because of the failures of a system. Raise children who know God, think critically, work diligently, and have the capacity to become part of the solution. The goal is not just to raise children who can survive a broken system, but children who can grow into adults capable of transforming it. by @abosede_odebode

Some of you have become so comfortable playing safe that you’re unknowingly playing small. You keep calculating every possible way it could go wrong, while ignoring what could happen if it goes right. Enough with the hesitation. Take the step. Make the call. Submit the application. Start the thing. You don’t need everything figured out. You need to start. NOW. 🔥 by @abosede_odebode

The process is part of the purpose. Sometimes God is more interested in what we become along the journey than in the reward waiting at the end. by @abosede_odebode
IDENTITY CRISIS Many times, we battle with the question of who we really are. Because tell me, why would a believer a son of God still struggle with sin, errors, failures, family patterns, and the things Christ has already paid the price for? Do you know whose you are? Do you truly understand what happened at salvation? Jesus gave His life so that you could be free. He paid the price for sin, shame, bondage, and the patterns that once defined your life. Yet, sometimes, we still find ourselves struggling with the very things we have been redeemed from. “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:26 KJV So how can you be a child of God and still live as though you have no Father? How can you be redeemed and still allow your past to define you? How can you have been given a new identity but continue to answer to an old one? Perhaps the real crisis is not that we don’t belong to Christ, but that we have not fully understood whose we are and who we have become in Him. You cannot consistently live beyond the revelation you have of your identity. Know whose you are. Know who you are. And live from that place by @abosede_odebode
The goodness of God can never be measured by the attitude of man, neither can His character be made answerable to human behavior. We must never reduce God to the level of our actions, as though His goodness depends on whether we are good. If God were only good because man is good, then God would no longer be the standard of goodness—man would be. And that is impossible. God is good because goodness is who He is. His love is not a reward for our perfection, nor is it a transaction based on what we do. God does not operate by the principle of “tit for tat” I will love you because you love me; I will be good to you because you are good to me.” No. The goodness of God is not a reflection of the behavior of man; it is a revelation of the nature of God. Even when humanity fails, God remains God. Even when man changes, God does not change. His love is not sustained by our performance, and His goodness is not cancelled by our failures. We do not make God good by being good. Rather, we discover the depth of His goodness because He is good even when we are not. by @abosede_odebode
