Yesterday, the world lost an icon. πŸ’” Dolly Parton was so much more than the hair, the rhinestones and the music. She was bold, funny, generous, completely herself. She inspired generations of people to be a little bigger, a little brighter and unapologetically who they are. A while back, one of my clients shared a dream with me. She wanted to live as Dolly for a day. So we did it. ✨ From helping her curate the outfits, to shopping for the perfect wig in New York City, to the hair, makeup and finishing touches, it became so much more than a makeover. It was about bringing a dream to life. Seeing the joy on her face as she stepped into someone she had admired for so long is something I’ll always remember. Today, that transformation feels even more meaningful. Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the glamour, the laughter and for inspiring so many people to dream big. And looking fabulous doing it! Rest in sparkle, Dolly. ✨🀍 #DollyParton #DollyForever #Transformation #HairAndMakeup #abovefirstsalon by @abovefirst

Now why did you swipe?! 🧐 post a βœ‚οΈ in the comments if you swiped. If you’re looking for how to get a β€œfree haircut” from your stylist... plot twist: you can’t! πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ Jokes aside, there is no magic DIY. Put down the kitchen scissors, cancel that late-night box dye, and come let a professional do the heavy lifting! βœ‚οΈβœ¨ by @abovefirst
