The Halloween fun isn’t over! 🎃🍂🎶 We’re continuing our fall celebration with a FREE Musical Discovery trial at Above The Notes! Join us tomorrow, Monday, November 2 at 10:30 AM, for music, movement, and playful discovery with your little ones ages 18 months–3 years. 🧡 DM us to reserve your spot! #AboveTheNotes #ToddlerMusic #MommyAndMe #nyckids by @abovethenotesnyc
We can’t live without a heartbeat, and music is a beat within all of us. Sometimes, it stays unheard until something as simple as a spoon tapping in the kitchen brings it to life. ❤️🥁 If you’ve ever handed your child a wooden spoon and regretted it five minutes later… this one’s for you. It’s easy to hear the banging and miss how much they’re enjoying working out a beat, changing it or asking you to listen to their “song.” That’s why The Dear Parent Project and Above The Notes wanted to come together. Through playful activities and the Learning Snapshot, The Dear Parent Project helps parents notice how their child thinks, explores and learns. Those observations can reveal the interests and approaches worth encouraging. Above The Notes gives children space to develop those interests through music, with a teacher who can listen, guide them and help them build confidence and skill. Together, we connect what parents notice at home with meaningful opportunities for children to explore and grow. The goal isn’t to turn every kitchen concert into a lesson—it’s to recognise the spark and give it room. So the next time the pots come out, try asking, “Can you play that for me again?” You might get a very enthusiastic encore. 😊 What’s the current soundtrack in your house? #thedearparentproject #abovethenotes #noticethespark #musicforkids #parentingwithcuriosity by @abovethenotesnyc

🎉🎶 Happy 3rd Birthday, Above the Notes! 🎶🎉 Three years ago, we opened our doors with a dream of inspiring a love of music. Since then, it's been an incredible journey filled with first notes, standing ovations, big milestones, and so many unforgettable memories. We've grown faster than we ever imagined, and none of it would have been possible without our amazing students, supportive families, dedicated teachers, and wonderful community. Thank you for believing in us and for making Above the Notes such a special place to learn, grow, and create. As we celebrate three years, we're excited to keep raising the bar, hitting new high notes, and helping even more young musicians discover the joy and confidence that music brings. 🎵 Here's to the next movement... and to growing even stronger together!
