“I’ve always loved taking pictures, but it wasn’t until I picked up my first film camera that I started treating it like art. There’s something about the mystery of film that’s captivating. Getting that feeling that you’ve lined up the perfect shot, but not knowing for sure until you’ve seen the scans, and the delayed gratification that comes when you finally do. Film taught me patience - to slow down, experiment, and make sure every shot is intentional. I view the world through a different lens now, obsessing over the way light interacts with the world around us and how it can create the perfect frame, even from something mundane.”

𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 is an ongoing initiative by @analogtheroom dedicated to showcasing the vision and craft of film photographers. As a hub for the photo community, we believe in not only preserving the art of film, but also uplifting the artists who keep it alive.

At @analogtheroom , we develop your film with top-tier machinery, handled with care, precision, and the fastest turnaround times in the UAE.

Here’s to capturing more magic together. 🌟
