I'm not quite sure how to put into words how special this morning was💌

@lululemon hosted their style and seed event, and I was so blessed to be invited by an amazing team! Together, fitness enthusiasts around Edmonton got to share their goals, visions, and their heart behind what they do, and in turn, I got to meet some incredibly special and cool people. As I was driving, I had a bit of a pinch-me moment, and thought about how 14 year-old me would've thought this is the coolest thing ever (25 year-old me still thinks that). I can't help but look around and credit the incredible community and support that has gotten to me where I am today🤍

thank you @blckbvrn for extending this invitation and allowing me to be part of something so special and uplifting in our community! I cannot wait to see what the business owners, Fitness instructors and educators across Edmonton accomplish when we show up and support one another in these ways!

My favourite saying in class is that discomfort is your opportunity for growth💪🏼

When we choose to get uncomfortable we allow ourselves to push towards the highest version of who we can become. We get to suprise ourselves everyday with the how capable our bodies truly are— and that's the real gift. On the other side of struggle, discomfort, and even failure is an unmet potential LETS GO FIND IT by @absinmotion_

Thank your body for what it can do instead of tearing it apart for what it isn’t🤍

Fitness can so easily become about what we want to change, but there is power in being grateful for where you are right now. For the wonderful things our bodies do for us each day— things that we take for granted.

I fall victim to this mentality too often. Focusing on what I wished my body could do, what I wished I looked like and forgetting the incredible things that my body has taken me through. Things that have helped me come out on the other side stronger, kinder, more resilient and confident.

In each step of your fitness journey you should be proud of the strength that you’re building. This is easier said that done 🙈 Be proud of showing up for yourself, and appreciate the body that takes you through life, even when it's hard to find something to love💌

You can still want to grow while being grateful for the body that’s getting you there 💪🏼 by @absinmotion_

Building strength and endurance can reach far beyond the gym. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give yourself is the ability to try new things outside of your norm. And sometimes, we don't quite realize how incredible our bodies are when we take care of them💪🏼 by @absinmotion_

Thank your body for continually showing up for you🤍 so often we tear ourselves apart, and criticize our bodies, taking for granted the strength and perseverance they give us each day.

How blessed are we to wake up each day with bodies that allow us to celebrate all that we are capable of— simply through movement and exercise💪🏼 Whether it's walking downstairs to make your morning coffee, getting to the gym, or running into class, don't take for granted the fact that your body shows up for you. It's easy to focus on what it can't do, but there's so much strength in what it does every single day. by @absinmotion_
