The Facts:

The Art Project was released less than a year ago. If you've yet to download it, do so and let us know if it wasn't worth the vibe. It's available now on all digital platforms.

The Breakdown:

Feature Presentation is a lyrical movie. We metaphorically describe our get down in cinematic fashion. The wordplay is layered, precise, and on point. If you enjoy creative Hip Hop storytelling with dope flows, this song is for you.

The Players:

Producer: @youngrj313 of @officialslumvillage
Written by: @olskool_icegre & @epdahellcat
Mixed & Mastered by: @dayunderscore by @abstractmindstate

Tune in on Saturday 3/14 to catch us chopping it up with the legendary Ghanaian presenter Eddy Blay Jr., aka Blazay (@blazaygh) on @y1079fm #WeekendMashup

What up, #ghana 🇧🇴

We look forward to building and sharing our art with the beautiful listeners of the continent.

Live Wednesday, March 11, 2026
@olskool_icegre joins @b.boys.underground to talk about his new project “Songs About Girls” (available now on all streaming platforms now!), the concept behind the record, and the bigger conversation around Adult Contemporary Hip Hop.

If you know his history with Ye & Good Music, his group @abstractmindstate with @epdahellcat
His work behind the scenes, and his push to carve out space for the traditional boom bap sound of rap music, then you already know this is bigger than a routine album promo.
This is a real conversation about perspective, storytelling, and staying rooted in the culture.

Short Film / documentary alert

What's up good people? We present to you our latest visual project titled Still Paying...An Abstract European Experience. This short film documentary takes you with us as we embark on our very first tour of Europe as the official opening act for our family, and Hip Hop royalty @officialslumvillage. Our brothers extended us the opportunity to travel across the pond to promote our upcoming album (at the time), The Art Project, and as yall know, we accepted. Being on the road in the U.S. with @t3slum and @youngrj313 is a movie, so imagine 30 days in Europe 😵‍💫🤯😎. These guys are serious business but extremely fun and straight up hilarious! Our favorite go-to, Honest Films own, Emmy Award Winning Television Producer Trizonna McClendon sat in the Director/Producer chair once again to take a gang of random footage from an idea to something for all to enjoy. Touring the world was a bucket list item for Abstract Mindstate, and although we've been blessed and fortunate enough to travel overseas since, this first experience will forever be one of our fondest memories as a group. Visit our official YouTube page (@ AbstractMindstateOfficial) to enjoy this short film/documentary and make sure you subscribe to the page, like, and comment or click the Linktree in our bio on Instagram.

If you live in or visited #ghana, you know about @republicbarghana. The only thing that could enhance the experience is Abstract Mindstate blasting over the speakers while you chill. Bar Louie feat. @davidbanner is making its rounds in Ghana, and we love it! Salute to the 🔌 @dimeken10

Word was Eddy Blay, the 1 hip hop presenter in Ghana, loves our single Bar Louie feat. David Banner. Shortly after, we received the visual to prove it. S/O @blazaygh. We love Africa. 🙌🏾 by @abstractmindstate

Songs About Girls is the 3rd installment of my 4 part Adult Contemporary Hip Hop ep series. This ep is a concept driven release. I took female names that were popularized in rap songs by LL Cool J, Diamond D, Stetsasonic, UTFO, Lost Boyz, Just-Ice, and Bad Boys and created fictional tales based on my own interactions with these ladies. I thought it would be very creative and fun storytelling. Let me know what you think. The songs are available in IG music and whatever platform you use to download music.

S/O the legends in Hip Hop, who I drew inspiration from when creating this concept ep. Salute to: @stetsasonicofficial_fanpage @justicebx07 @llcoolj @lblostboyz diamondditc UTFO BadBoys f/K Love
