POSTS STORIES REELS
“Acid Fountain is a female fronted punk band from Vancouver, BC, driven by powerful vocals, distorted guitar, strong rhythms, and high energy live performances, with members from California, Mexico City, and Vancouver. We believe in bringing authenticity to the stage, messy, passionate, loud, and honest. Drawing inspiration from hardcore punk and other female fronted bands like Amyl and the Sniffers and Bikini Kill, Acid Fountain brings a raw and energetic sound to the stage. Our current releases on streaming platforms represent where the band began, but not necessarily where we are today. We’re currently working on recording new music that captures the energy we bring to the stage today. Be on the lookout for some new music very soon!“ Check this band out! They’re awesome. ❤️ #Music #amylandthesniffers #bikinkill #newmusic #punksnotdead by @ac1d_fountain

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19 Live at 118 W Hastings With @civildecay_ Come to our concert fundraiser to support CPSHR’s ongoing campaign work! As we see resource extraction and Indigenous land grabbing worsening here in so-called “Canada”, we also witness the Canadian state committing the same crimes overseas. Now, more than ever, it is essential for us to come together and learn from each other! How can we support human rights collectively? Proceeds will be going to: 1. Supporting our day-to-day work 2. Sending activists to the Kapit-Bisig Global Conference in Toronto at the end of the month to learn from other organizers 3. Sending activists to exposure trips to the Philippines to learn directly from land and human rights defenders there Link to tickets in bio! $15 online, or $20 at doors!
