Silvretta has left
Seeing her leave the hangar this Monday felt surreal. The space where we built, tested, and dreamed now stands empty. It’s hard to believe how fast time has flown. In just 15 days, we’ll follow it across the globe to Australia for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

The last picture shows who we are: students working together with one goal, to build, learn, and
aCe the Race!

What does it take to compete in the 40th anniversary of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge?
A solar car? Absolutely. But that’s only part of the story.

Behind every solar car, there’s a team. And to race 3,000 km across the Australian Outback, we need food, accommodation, logistical support, and 36 students ready to make it happen.

In July 2027 we will head to Australia to prepare and test the car to finally race from Darwin to Adelaide at the end of August. Every contribution brings us one step closer to the starting line.

Help us build it. Help us get to Australia. Help us race across Australia!

The Spring Damper Element (SDE) is a key part of our solar car’s suspension system. It manages wheel movement and maintains consistent tyre contact by absorbing road-induced vibrations and bumps.

Carefully tuned to minimise energy losses, the SDE helps keep the car stable and predictable without compromising efficiency over long distances. by @acentauri_solarracing

One week ago, we took part in the @ilumeneuropeansolarchallenge, what a 24 hours! ☀️

Silvretta flipped, and what followed was one of the toughest challenges we have faced. We managed to repair the damage while getting a spare canopy from Zurich to Belgium, allowing us to get back on track and continue at full pace. 💪

All the effort, determination, and teamwork earned us the “Spirit of the Event” Trophy, a recognition we are incredibly proud of.

Our second iESC adventure ends with 253 laps. Not the result we were hoping for, but definitely an experience that showed what this team is capable of.

Let’s keep ace!🔥 by @acentauri_solarracing

Day 4: Race Day Pt. 2
24 hours. 253 laps. ~1,015 km✨

From 12:00 on Saturday to 12:00 on Sunday, Silvretta took on the @ilumeneuropeansolarchallenge at Circuit Zolder.

A full day and night of racing, with changing conditions every step of the way by @acentauri_solarracing

Day 3: Race Day Pt. 1
We started stronger than expected, but after just five hours, our race took an unexpected turn: Silvretta flipped.

Thankfully, our driver was safe, and we managed to get Silvretta back on track. 💪

Stay tuned for Part 2 👀 by @acentauri_solarracing

Day 2: aCe passes Dynamic Scrutineering
Yesterday, we successfully passed Dynamic Scrutineering and hit the track for a few laps during both the day and night testing sessions! by @acentauri_solarracing

Day 1: Static Scrutineering
Yesterday, Silvretta passed static scrutineering. After that, we got our pit box and started getting everything ready for the days ahead.
🏁 Race is coming, Silvretta will be on the starting line Saturday at 12:00 by @acentauri_solarracing

Day 0: packed & loaded.
