Samridhi Dutta

@samridhi_dutta_

I work towards the day when our film industry will be brimming with educated, self-aware, and deeply trained artists. A day when cinema will be celebrated more for its study, human connect, longevity, intelligence and discoveries than only limited viewpoint of entertainment.

To be a part of this fraternity, I believe, takes far more than ambition or charisma. It demands a deep understanding of acting, and of many other arts that inform the actor’s being. It takes commitment, curiosity, and a constant return to learning. And I see a future where there are more number of educated artists who create and release cinema, and educated audiences who consume it correctly.

The Actor’s Orbit is my humble yet determined step toward that better future.
It doesn’t promise big revelations, but it offers a daily rhythm, a quiet journey, that reconnects you with the educational soul of cinema.

This Workshop-Journal is for you find your way into the world of education as an actor, and understand the relevance of it, even if current times dictate you against it. To believe in your instrument and train it consistently, with diligent documentation.

Do not give up on the importance of education as an artist. NEVER! If you feel lost, pick up this journal and get back to your tools. The way will show itself ⭐️ by @samridhi_dutta_
