I’ve somehow been nominated for a fourth time in the ‘Composer of the Year’ category at the @scotstradmusicawards. Last time was in 2017 - also in Paisley! @tradviola was also nominated that year for Tutor of the Year. We both won and it was a fun night. I’m sharing the company of some seriously marvellous musical minds: @mhenderson, @hamishgrantnapier and @colinsteeletrumpet. Link in bio and all that 📸 by @somhairle_macdhomhnaill by @adamfiddle
This weeks composition! ‘Jaffilia Jig’, commissioned by @madamdxb - a lovely couple and both fantastic musicians over in Dubai. DM for the dots. #musiccomposer #scottishtraditionalmusic #irishtraditionalmusic by @adamfiddle
I wrote this tune for my wee girl. Composing is my very favourite thing to do. If you want to learn it, feel free to DM me for the dots :-) #scotstrad #irishtrad #capebretonmusic by @adamfiddle
Hollywood legend Bill Murray’s new documentary has one one my tunes in it. Whaaaaaat Chuffed! My first ever sync deal. On bbc player now and on BBC 2 on Sunday at 9:30 PM. Then worldwide on Paramount + 😅 The band playing The Road to Errogie are called @jiggytheband and it’s in episode 1. by @adamfiddle
Looking for someone to duet with me. If this you, DM for the dots. Or just DM if you want the music so you can learn it for your own enjoyment. This tune is called James and Lucia’s and is one of mine. Written for some newly weds and originally commissioned by the father of the groom. I love these notes. by @adamfiddle
I feel like I might have captured something here. Instagram says that because this is over 3 mins long, they won’t show it to new audiences. So resharing is totally appreciated 👌🙏 I think I’m supposed to cut it short or something, in order to appease the algorithm. I just don’t feel like doing that. Grateful for your support. Adam PS I Included the music in case you want to play along. This is what I share with my Patreon crew. by @adamfiddle
