This funding supports community initiatives that help older adults stay active, build friendships, access services and live safely. I encourage eligible organizations in Clayton Park West to explore this opportunity and share it with others doing meaningful work with seniors. Thank you for inviting me to the live demonstration at @steelewheelsns Wheels Motor Museum on October 27. It was great to connect with the team afterward and hear about their plans to establish a greater presence right here in Clayton Park West. Their proposed assembly and testing hub for energy recovery technology could create skilled electrical, mechanical and testing jobs, bringing new opportunities for local workers and businesses. It was especially encouraging to hear a fellow Clayton Park West resident and immigrant entrepreneur’s ambition to build and grow here in Nova Scotia. Thank you to Vince Pothier for making the connection. I look forward to learning more as the team advances its plans and pursues independent validation of the technology. Supporting local entrepreneurs and helping promising ideas move forward can make a meaningful difference in our community. Protecting our future and building Nova Scotia. by @adegokefadaremla
Happy Halloween, Clayton Park West and Nova Scotia! 🎃👻 Whether you’re heading out for treats, carving pumpkins, enjoying a spooky movie or joining a community event, have a safe and fun evening with family and friends. Please watch for little ghosts and goblins crossing our streets, drive carefully and look out for one another. 🧡 by @adegokefadaremla
It was an honour to attend the unveiling of the portrait of the Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Nova Scotia’s first Acadian Lieutenant Governor. It was especially lovely to connect with his amiable wife, Patsy, who is always so warm and welcoming. A special occasion celebrating their service, kindness and contributions to our province. Thank you both for the many lives you have touched. by @adegokefadaremla
It was great connecting with firefighters at the meet and greet. I especially appreciated chatting with Joe, who represents Station 7 here in Clayton Park West, about their current needs and concerns. It was also good to catch up with Mike from Station 6. I always enjoy our conversations. Across Nova Scotia, career and volunteer firefighters give so much to protect others. Our volunteers deserve special recognition for balancing emergency calls and training with work and family responsibilities. This year, our government passed the Support for Fire Protection Services Act, laying the groundwork for consistent training, certification and protective equipment standards. Budget 2026–27 also includes $3 million to improve fire services, alongside investments in mobile training equipment to bring training closer to home. Thank you to Emergency Management Minister Kim Masland for her leadership in moving this important work forward and engaging with firefighters and communities. I will continue listening, bringing concerns forward, and advocating for the safety and wellbeing of our firefighters. To every career and volunteer firefighter, and the families supporting them, thank you. Your service matters, and so do you. Protecting our future. Building Nova Scotia. by @adegokefadaremla

It was great connecting with the team at 902 Hoops League! 🏀 They are creating opportunities for adults of different skill levels to stay active, enjoy basketball and connect through sport. Their work also includes community events and partnerships with youth programs. Thank you for sharing your passion for the game and bringing people together. I look forward to working with you to host a game right here in Clayton Park West! There is nothing like a little friendly competition to bring our community together. Who’s ready? 🏀 #ClaytonParkWest #902Hoops #CommunityThroughSport by @adegokefadaremla
