WIP. Loved the crimson varnish on the vehicles so much. I had to try and replicate the effect on the guard. I think it turned out great. Really hard to control overspray with a .45 needle size though. #warhammer #40k #minipainting #warhammercommunity #custodes by @adeptusauthoritas

Incredible photos of Nagash courtesy of the VERY talented @alex.bertsekas Thanks again for your time teaching me the game, and providing these sweet photos!!! #warhammer #ageofsigmar #minipainting #warhammercommunity #halloween by @adeptusauthoritas

Welcome to my Dark King inspired Custodes Page. Mohawk Trajann is best Trajann. by @adeptusauthoritas

WIP. Reworking/finalizing some of my original allarus paint jobs. Decided to grind out this guys helmet for a spooky headsman vibe. #warhammer40k #custodes #warhammercommunity #40k #minipainting by @adeptusauthoritas

WIP. Don’t mind the gooby eyes. Finally putting some paint to plastic on my first venture into the hobby, my Trajann kitbash. With a few months under my belt, I now feel like I can do him justice!

We might not have placed/won anything in the painting comp. But I am still incredibly proud of what I was able to accomplish in just five evenings of painting. Nagash is such an incredibly fun model, and a great test for me after diving in to the hobby head first just a few months ago. #warhammer #minipainting #warhammercommunity #ageofsigmar #miniatureart by @adeptusauthoritas

Less than 48 hours till the deadline for the painting comp. Still quite a bit to be done, on top of some big work projects happening in tandem. #warhammer #warhammercommunity #minipainting #ageofsigmarminiature by @adeptusauthoritas

Any time I start a big project, I like to give myself reference photos, samples of basing materials/colors, and swatches with colors together to see which compliments the other the best.
Minimizing mistakes and maximizing expected outcomes does a lot to keep the hobby fun and exciting for me. #warhammer #warhammercommunity #40k #minipainting by @adeptusauthoritas

From my first painted model (allarus vexilla) to some experimenting with color schemes (purple pauldron guy) to my latest guard project. It’s been an incredible first few months in the hobby.
The creative side of this community has been immense, kind, and constructive, and I’m so happy to be a part of the fun. Now I just need to get into some games! #warhammer #40k #warhammercommunity #custodes #minipainting by @adeptusauthoritas

Motion activated LEDs inside the carry/display case. Too much? Or just right? Going to be adding a few other mods to this thing to allow it to carry MORE hobby supplies. #40k #warhammer #warhammercommunity #miniaturepainting #custodes by @adeptusauthoritas

WIP. Big fan of how the experiment with clear crimson varnish turned out. Had to give it a try on the Custodes Kool-aide man as well. #40k #warhammer #miniaturepainting #custodes #warhammercommunity by @adeptusauthoritas

Trying out something fun for these speedy guys. Very excited to try this @robot.kai clear crimson varnish. #40k #warhammer #warhammercommunity #miniaturepainting #custodes by @adeptusauthoritas
