Whiskey (sometimes mezcal) and whatever I’m doing when having it. This isn’t about posting unopened unicorn bottles, but ones enjoyed.

Can’t tell you how much Drivin n Cryin means to me. As a Raleigh kid in the early ‘90s? They represented the south I felt in my heart and soul. Seeing them at @lucindasnyc was a highlight of my year. 🖤 by @admiralwhiskey

What a weekend upstate playing music and hanging with my best friend from high school, culminating in seeing Rush at MSG last night. He and I started playing music together 35 years ago, and can pick it up together any time with ease. Here’s to 35 more! 🖤 by @admiralwhiskey

Had a wonderful time at the @foundnorthwhisky tasting at @travelbarbrooklyn last night. Tasted two flights of incredible whisky from Found North, which then turned into a free-for-all of blind pours chosen by various attendees (and/or Mike), and hanging out with the best people. Did a poor job of photographing last night, which goes to show how much fun it was. I’m beyond lucky to live so close to such a special spot. 🖤 #whiskey #whiskeybar #foundnorthwhisky #tasting #imbibe by @admiralwhiskey
