Six months ago, many of you generously donated to help restore the shelter's solar power system. Thanks to your support, we were able to move forward with needed repairs, and we remain incredibly grateful for that help.

Unfortunately, we are now facing an unexpected setback.

The new inverter installed, along with our second inverter, are both no longer functioning. The installation company assured us they would honor the warranty. Despite repeated follow-ups, they have not completed the promised repair or replacement, and both inverters now remain out of service.

We now need to purchase and install two replacement inverters.

🌼🐾 Today, we welcome them home 🐾🌼
Día de Los Muertos para Mascotas

October 27 is a special day in Mexico, when the spirits of our beloved pets are believed to return to visit us once again. 💀

Today, we open our hearts to Bruno, Freddy, Charro, and Milo, along with every precious soul we’ve said goodbye to, both this year and in years past. 🧡 🕊️

We’ve placed offerings for them, hoping they’ll find their way back to us for one more treat, one more cuddle, and one more moment together.

Some were with us for years, others for far too little time. But each left paw prints on our hearts that will never fade.

Today, we remember them, celebrate their lives, and cherish the love they left behind.

Welcome home, sweet souls. You’ve been missed more than words can say. 🕯️🌼🐾💀

On October 14, Sarni joined our ADNL family after being reported and rescued from San Vicente❤️‍🩹

Despite everything she’s been through, this sweet girl is nothing but love! She absolutely adores people and just wants to be close to them.
Estimated to be 1.5 years old, Sarni arrived anemic and suffering from severe demodectic mange (non-contagious). Her skin was so inflamed, we can only imagine how uncomfortable and painful it must have been.
She’s been receiving colloidal silver baths to help soothe her skin, and after just a couple of weeks, we’re already seeing improvement! 💖

We’re so happy to be part of Sarni’s healing journey and know that when she’s ready, she’ll make someone an incredible companion.
Stay tuned to watch her transformation!

🐾 Want to help Sarni? Consider making a donation toward her care or becoming her monthly sponsor until she finds her forever home.

𝗕𝗲 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗹. 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿. 🧡 In a world that celebrates youth, choose a dog whose face tells a longer story.

Rosie’s story includes 2,067 days at A Dog’s New Life. Rescued in 2021, she received the care she needed to heal. She grew older in our care. Her worth never changed.

On October 18, around 10 years of age, Rosie finally went home with her adopter, right here in Mexico. Now her story includes a comfortable bed, affection, and the everyday moments of belonging to someone.

Thank you to her adopter for seeing Rosie and choosing a future together. ❤️
Senior dogs have personalities to discover, lives to enjoy, and love to share. They deserve new beginnings, too.

More seniors are still waiting at A Dog’s New Life. Share Rosie’s story—you may help someone see an older dog differently. 🐾

Help us make that happen. Share this reel, tag a friend, and help these deserving girls find their forever families. ❤️🐾
