POSTS STORIES REELS

Hallo! I'd love to introduce you to my team 😝✨

I've been planning on finishing this reel for a while now, but there is always so many other 'TASKS' 😅

As it fits today's prompt for #marchmeetthemaker I finally finished it!

Trying to build and keep up small business can be very overwhelming. On one hand I love the freedom, creativity and flexibility. On the other hand, it's necessary to juggle so many different tasks and fill all the working positions, and if you want to succeed you need to learn and get better in all of them - because creating a beautiful product is not enough.

Sometimes I feel like my creativity is suppressed at the expense of learning new skills and trying to figure out how to be better at promoting my work, taking better pictures, trying to figure out the algorithm of Instagram or being a mom at the same time 😂

Luckily for this year I also hired a professional planner for the team - to manage all the tasks, prioritize and make sure I'm on top of everything 💪🏻

How do you like my team? 😆

Hello everyone!

Recently I've got some new followers and I decided to tell you something more about myself, so you know who is behind Adriah Decor ✨😊

My name is Adriana and I'm 33 years old. I'm from Slovakia, currently living in the Netherlands.
I'm a stay-at-home mom of two little girls - Alba and Lana 🤍

I started with macrame during my first pregnancy which was at the same time as COVID lockdown - the hotel where I worked was closed for a long period of time together with other businesses. All of a sudden I had so much time and nothing to do, so I decided to learn something new. It definitely helped me to stay sane at those times 😄

I've always loved crafting and creating something with my hands and making macramé really brought me joy and helped to clear my head. Needless to say, I became obsessed with knotting 🤍

Here are some fun facts about me:
🔹For 10 years I lived in Prague, CZ
🔹I'm addicted to chocolate
🔹I love traveling
🔹My happy place is a beach
🔹I speak fluently 5 languages
🔹I have four tattoos ( there will be more for sure 🙊)
🔹I have misophonia
🔹I'm veeery scared of spiders
🔹I have a pet 🐱
🔹I can control my dreams ✨

I invite you to say "Hi" in the comments and tell me something about you - I would love to know more about you guys! 🤍 by @adriah_decor

During the recent Christmas market I was asked a lot what materials I use for creating my macrame pieces, so I decided to tell you a bit more about it.

I take pride in using natural products and cords from recycled cotton ensuring that each creation is not only unique and beautiful but also sustainable 🌿

🧶 CORDS
My number one choice for cords is @hello_bobbiny 🤍

Their cords are of great quality, super pleasant to the touch and come in sooo many beautiful colors 😍 let me tell you that everytime I'm ordering a new batch I'm struggling because I just want them all 🤭😅

But the cords are not only amazing to work with they are also eco-friendly! They're made of 100% recycled cotton with Oeko-Tex Certificate Standard 100 in first class. It means that they were tested at every production level and do not contain any substances (chemicals, dyes) that are harmful for our health. They may be safely used in products for toddlers and people with allergies.

🪵🌿 WOODEN BRANCHES AND STICKS
I usually find them during my walks in nature (mostly forests and beaches). I treat them in a water-vinegar bath to make sure there are no bugs and let them dry in the sun.

To be honest I'm obsessed with finding the perfect wood pieces and I'm always on the hunt 😅🧐

The funny thing is that other people got hooked into it and now I'm getting sticks from family and friends too and I love it! 😂 by @adriah_decor

One of the two big macramé wall hangings I’m making for a local gym’s sauna area is finally up! 🤍

And I couldn’t be happier to see it there. I think it fits in so beautifully with all the wooden accents around it, making the space feel even warmer and cosier.

There’s still one more piece to go, and it’s even bigger than this one! It’s still in the making, but I’m already so excited to see the two of them together in their new home.

It’s always such a special feeling to see something handmade go from my little workspace to a place where people get to enjoy it every day. ✨

What do you think of how it looks in the space?
Follow me and stay tuned for the second even bigger piece! 🤍 by @adriah_decor

I’ve always found so much peace in nature and I love bringing a little bit of that feeling into my creations.

The colors of the autumn trees, the little details we sometimes walk past without noticing… they all inspire me in different ways. And with every piece I make, I hope to bring that same sense of calm and connection to nature into someone else’s home. 🤎

What part of nature makes you feel most at peace? 🌿 I’d love to know! by @adriah_decor

Do you guys remember my post with the tiny butterflies? 🦋💗

Well, here’s what I made with them!

With the autumn weather settling in, it felt like the perfect time to create something a little whimsical.
A few dried flowers, a little moss and some tiny butterflies can turn into something that feels almost magical.

I love how all these little details come together to create a miniature enchanted garden. A tiny piece of nature to keep in your home all year round. 🦋🌸

And even though the displays are similar, the different butterfly colors give each one its own personality. 🌾🍂

Now I’m curious…

Which little world would you choose for your home: the pink and purple butterflies or the golden yellow ones?

Let me know in the comments! 🥰 by @adriah_decor

While making these tiny macrame butterflies I kept thinking about what butterflies represent. 🦋

Transformation, new beginnings and learning to trust the process, even when we don't know exactly where it's taking us.

I think that's one of the reasons I love butterflies so much. They remind me that we all have our own pace, that we don't have to rush things and that even the smallest things can hold so much meaning.

And maybe that's what I wanted to capture in these little butterflies. A gentle reminder to be patient with ourselves, to keep dreaming and to trust that beautiful things can come from change.

These little butterflies are actually part of a bigger project I'm working on, which I'm excited to share with you soon. ✨

I hope they bring a little joy to whoever finds them and maybe remind you of something you need to hear today. 🤍

Do you also find meaning in little handmade things like these? 🦋 by @adriah_decor

Apparently finding your audience is harder than making a macramé piece 😂

If you’re into handmade, cozy things & fibre art, stick around 🤍

A few days ago, this beautiful piece made by @adriah_decor arrived 🤍

She created this handmade macramé hat holder for us, and we absolutely love how it turned out.

I still haven’t decided where in the house to hang it because it looks good everywhere ✨

Definitely go check out her work, she has so many beautiful pieces 🤍

A little something different today 🍂

This one has nothing to do with macramé, but I thought it might be fun to share something for all the other creative people here too. 🤎

I made this simple autumn table decoration with a pumpkin and it’s such an easy and fun DIY to try at home. 🎃

So if you’re in the mood for a bit of crafting this weekend, give it a try!

Save this reel for later and tag me if you make your own version! 😍

There’s something very therapeutic about sitting down, putting on some music and tying the same knot approximately 700 times until your brain finally goes quiet. 😂

Because sometimes I just need some rope, a little patience and a project that gives me something to focus on.

So here I am, knotting away, pretending I have everything under control.

Honestly, 10/10 would recommend. Much cheaper than therapy. And significantly less illegal than my other coping mechanisms. 😂

Now I’m curious 🧐 what’s your version of “doing this because therapy is expensive”? What do you do when you need to switch your brain off for a while? by @adriah_decor

Tag a small business owner who needs this reminder today, and let’s show them some love in the comments. 👇✨

Sometimes I have to remind myself of this too. 🤍

It’s easy to look at one order and think, “Oh, it’s just one.”
But behind that one order is a real person who found my business, liked what I do and chose to support me.

And honestly, that means so much.

Every order, message, recommendation, share and kind word helps me keep going. I’m so grateful for every single person who chooses to support my little business. 🫶

It might feel small from the outside, but to me it never is.

And if you’re building a small business too, I hope this is your reminder today: what you’re doing matters, even on the quiet days. Keep going. 🤍 by @adriah_decor
