Competitive partner ball-handling warmup. Here we are working on dribbling in tight spaces w/ a variety of constraints. Our warmups should prep players mentally & physically for practice. ✅ Make it fun ✅ Make it competitive ✅ Make it translate to 🏀 #youthbasketball #basketballtraining #playerdevelopment by @advantage_basketball
🌟Train decision making with and without the ball 🏀 2v2 Post Drive Reaction - start with defense @ a disadvantage (in this case we go ball-on-back) - play is live when wing drives baseline or middle - Dunker spot reacts to the drive and finds the “window” - Extra points if wing scores off initial drive. This forces help to step up and creates opportunities for the ball handler to work on dump-off passes #basketballiq #basketballdevelopment by @advantage_basketball

🏀 Celebrating the end of another amazing session with our Advantage Basketball family! Thank you to all of our players and families who came out to celebrate with us, contributed to the potluck, and helped make it such a great time. To those who couldn’t make it — you were definitely missed, and we appreciate you being a part of this journey! With the completion of our 3rd session, we are proud to officially celebrate our first year of Advantage Basketball. What started as a vision has grown into an incredible community built around development, hard work, teamwork, and a shared love for the game. We are extremely grateful for every player, parent, and family who has trusted us and supported our mission to positively impact our community while helping develop the next generation — both on and off the court. This is only the beginning. We’re excited for the future, the growth ahead, and everyone who continues to be part of the Advantage Basketball journey. Thank you for an unforgettable first year. Let’s keep building. 🏀💪 Drop a 🏀 if you’ve been part of the journey and share a favorite memory so far! by @advantage_basketball
Final day in Reno. The team played their butts off and played their best game of the weekend. Didn’t come out with the W, but we learned a lot about the grit of this team! by @advantage_basketball
Protection Plans limit turnovers and help players find solutions when defense cuts them off💡 🏀 Here we are working on our Barkleys - after our primary defender cuts us off, we turn our drive into a post up and keep a live dribble From there we can attack space, find cutters. or uphill DHO with nearest teammate If our initial drive draws help, we always kick and get defend into rotation Protections plans help keep possessions flowing when defense gets you neutral 🏀 by @advantage_basketball
