My first triathlon in my hometown, Jakarta. Thank you @jakartatriathlon @dkijakarta @msurjaputra for the very nice event. I hope this will be an annual event. Special thanks to @pstc_id coaches & buddies, @aknasution @kvnrosee @jordanugrah @ahmadaslam.15 @kyyyyy11111. Thank you wifey for coming together to Ancol during the weekend 😘 Also congrats to @ranggasatya for his 1st tri event…you are now a triathlete! As well as office buddies @rezarinaldhie @radityadwi.anugrah for racing alongside with me 💪 Sprint distance: 750m 🏊🏼, 20K 🚴‍♂️, 5K 🏃. Fast paced indeed. Rank top 10 in the age group category…pasti karena banyak yang jago2 lagi ikut event ironman 🤪 #triathlon #jakartatriathlon #triathlete by @adyaksa
Finished my virgin 10k “sea-marathon” and therefore officially an Oceanman 🥳. Been manifesting it since 2023, I registered to the event in Nov 2025 (dijebak @sulistio.gary @didiarifin ), trained for 7 months: that is around 250k of swim (coaches: @aknasution @kvnrosee @jordanugrah), with the swimsquad in most of the pictures here. The target was to complete the distance and never about the time. Felt really good after the 1st half, intentionally to conserve energy (5000m in 2:04). But the wave on 2nd half, espc the last 2km made me like swimming on treadmill, couldn’t move! Breaststrokes helped me. I still managed to finish (4:18) before cut off time of 4h30min, on target + bonus😎*. Upperbody sores, salt-tongue, stings (sea bather’s), sunburned* but nothing compared to the feeling after completing the journey. Thank you to my wonderful soulmate to give a visa and support me on this journey @ammaputri ❤️. To coaches mentioned above. To mas emir & mba @aminurmansyah66 for the wonderful camp training & hosting facilities. To @swimswimakbar swimrats. And as the event also celebrates friendship, would like to tag some that I know their IGs too: @owen.sutherland83 (virgin 10K, congrats!) @didiarifin (virgin 10K, congrats!) @sulistio.gary (virgin 10K, congrats!) @21cheppy (virgin 5K, congrats!) @eri_budiono @ommartyn @mayadjatirman @a_pradana @ary.sutoyo @rustiandini @fia_reksodiputro (virgin 2K, congrats!) @teddy.danas @ira_ted @adriglory @ranggasatya (virgin 2K, congrats!) @buyungmoer @inez_nastiti @oceanman_indonesia. *lessons learned: - good sunscreen for 3h+ sea water - good product to prevent sea stings - wave tend to pickup when the sun is up - train for a head on wave - swim less than 10k 🫣 #oceanman #oceanmanindonesia #openwaterswimming #swimming by @adyaksa
Bismillah. Party checklist: - Bring everything 😂 My first proper swimming “marathon” in a go (10K 😭). Feeling pumped for @oceanman_indonesia. #openwaterswimming #oceanman by @adyaksa

Weekend “Getaway”. 31Jan-1Feb. Cycling from Bandung - Pangalengan - Gambung - Ciwidey - Ranca Bali. Around 90km with about 2000m EG. Great time, fabulous people, ear-to-ear smiles, cramped legs, sang like a failed rockstar, ate til gut and heart content 😂. by @adyaksa
Am a proud son 🙌 Daftar Ironman yang mana kita? 😆 by @adyaksa
My most camera-conscious race 🤣 Thank you @ironmanwesternaustralia for unforgettableand fabulous event! by @adyaksa
The D-Day! Look at the drone shots from above, they feel like the Windows login page wallpapers, and I….was the NPC 🤣 Gun time at 05:30am. Swim leg was a dream! No waves, clear visibility, 19-21 C of water 👌. Wetsuit felt good. No panic attack. But I was too pumped at the beginning so spending too fast too early, so managed to pull 41min for 1.9k (2:12/100m)…way below my target of sub 2/100m 🤣. Transition 1: had to use portapot after taking of wetsuit. The weather man…it was cold in the morning, out from the cold sea. Bike leg was okay, i had stronger legs coming from transition. A hiccup (nightmare actually), my bikecomp couldnt read the powermeter properly. This is a known issue with Garmin Edge 840 using ANT+ protocol PM (and my PM doesn’t nt have BLE 🫣). So I had to rely on heart rate data..Z2-Z3. I think i managed to consume 2 bananas, maurten solids, 150ish gr carbs. Exactly as planned. 2h50m for 90k or 31.6kph. Transition 2: another toilet break 😮‍💨 Run leg with no jelly legs. Amazing! Brick training works well! Managed to run 6ish pace til 11k in!!! But as soon as I hit 11-12km, the usual problems kicked in. Glute, hamstring, quad, of the right leg… all locking up. So I went with run-walk-run until 21k. A 2h41m of HM. I take that as a W for now. Overall, happy with how this trip and the race went on. The country, the people, the cities, the foods, the peers i travelled with, the venue, the hotel, the event, the weather…everything! Special thanks to @yuktravel as travel agent, my coaches @aknasution @kvnrosee and chatgpt 😭. The training buddies + travel gang @teddy.danas @ira_ted @ammaputri @mayadjatirman @a_pradana @ary.sutoyo @rustiandini (also chef) @didiarifin @devi_erizal Videos and pro shots are from @ironmanwesternaustralia page and are by @daniela_tommasi_photography by @adyaksa
