कि नाम है उसका नीलम, फिर भी आँखें इसकी नीली क्यूँ? Encore ABJ and Bhaskar didn’t just drop a song; they dropped a profound riddle. Neelam aur Neeli is a deep dive into the psychological loop of a mother questioning her life choices and destiny. The daughter’s striking blue eyes are a poetic symbol: for her, they represent the cosmic beauty of innocence and hope. But for Neelam, they are a painful reflection of regret and guilt, two sides of the same coin. This track is a powerful exploration of the crushing weight of destiny. P.S. If you thought all blue eyes do is ‘hypnotize’ you, you need to listen to this track. It shows how the same color can carry the weight of the entire universe (and your past mistakes). Go experience this masterpiece! (Hiphop, rap, dhh, desi hiphop, hindi rap, Urdu rap, hiphop updates, dhh news) by @aflaatune
Farhan Khan’s Alif Laila Part 1 builds a world where Indian folk, poetry, and hip-hop converge without compromise. These tracks draw from folk roots and our love culture, letting them breathe naturally within modern rap rhythms. The result is music that feels both current and authentic. While Part 2 released first and explored the aftermath, the anger, denial, and acceptance following loss, Part 1 takes us back to the beginning, to the foundation of love itself. Check the project and let us know which track did you like the most! (Hiphop, rap, Hindi rap, Urdu rap, dhh, desi hiphop, Farhan khan, hiphop updates, dhh news) by @aflaatune

From ‘Do Ka Pahada’ to ‘DL91 FM’ the Seedhe Maut journey is nothing less than the evolution of Delhi rap itself. 📍 The Genesis (2017–2018) The duo (ft Encore ABJ & CALM) became famous in the local city circuit with the debut EP - Do Ka Pahada (2017) which was raw, uncut and hungry. Then came Class-Sikh Maut Vol. II feature where duo showcased their flow-ability on a Prabh collab, featured Calm fully rapping in Hindi. Their debut album Bayaan (2018) turned into the foundation stone of Delhi hip-hop. 📍 The Core (2019–2022) Every release sharpened their craft 101 (2019) proved their growth, MMM / Yaad (2020) showcased their flows, N (2021) teased what was coming, and then Nayaab (2022) arrived their magnum opus, redefining Indian hip-hop. 📍 Beyond Albums (2020–2025) Not just records, but experiments Ball (2020) pushed hooks, Do Guna (2020) was social commentary, Lunch Break (2023) brought featureheavy fire, Shakti & Kshama (2024) were literary twin-EPs, and DL91 FM (2025) marked a full circle not just rappers, but label heads. 📍 Individual ft Encore ABJ’s solo drops (Wish You Were Here, Wait For You), Calm’s heartfelt Tere Papa, and more proving their strength even outside the duo. 📍 The Controversies & Clashes From the Nirbhaya and Kode controversies, to the feud with Teesri Duniya and beef with SOS.Seedhe Maut have never shied away from fire. Seven years in, from underground rebels to torchbearers of desi hip-hop, their journey is the story of a culture taking root. Let us know whose journey we should look at next? Shoutout to @earfeeder <3 (Hiphop, desihiphop, rap, Hindi rap, Urdu rap, hiphop updates, dhh news, Seedhe maut, calm, encore) by @aflaatune

Frappe Ash’s ‘Ice Cream Frappe’ refuses to play by hip-hop’s unwritten rules about staying in your lane. Most artists pick a side : either the class clown or the tortured poet, but Ash plants himself firmly in both camps, and somehow makes it work. Take “Juice,” where he transforms a simple phrase about drinking his own juice into something that’s simultaneously ridiculous and revealing. What starts as a joke about breakfast routines becomes a meditation on privilege and gratitude toward his father’s sacrifices. It’s the kind of move that could easily backfire, but Ash has the self-awareness to pull it off. “Sharmeeli” flips the script entirely. Here, he trades comedy for contemplation, painting adult life as this beautiful mess where romance gets squeezed between rent payments and career anxiety. The dreamy production gives way to something heavier, the realization that growing up means watching simple things become complicated. This push and pull between silly and serious brings Mac Miller to mind, though Ash lacks Miller’s melancholy. There’s also some Lil Dicky DNA here, but where Dicky often feels like he’s winking at the audience, Ash seems genuinely invested in both sides of his personality. He’s not performing depth or manufactured quirkiness, he’s just refusing to edit himself into something more marketable. The album’s naked ice cream aesthetic isn’t just shock value or social media bait. It’s a statement about vulnerability and artifice, about being willing to look foolish if it means staying honest. In an era where every artist has a carefully curated brand, Ash’s messiness feels almost radical. ‘Ice Cream Frappe’ works because it doesn’t ask you to take it completely seriously or write it off as pure comedy. Instead, it occupies that tricky middle ground where the best art lives, smart enough to reward close listening, loose enough to soundtrack a good time. Ash has found his voice by refusing to choose just one. Check it out and let us know your favourite flavour in this frappe’s icecream parlour!
