Today, the second Monday of October, is #IndigenousPeoplesDay. We celebrate Indigenous survival, resistance & a future beyond the white supremacist myths this country tells about itself—no matter how hard reactionary forces to try erase our history.

Our housing crisis can't be solved without confronting the theft of Indigenous land & the ongoing displacement of Indigenous peoples built into our property system.

Great, informative statement from @dredf1979 on the new so-called "Treatment First" toolkit from Trump's HUD.

Sec. Scott Turner can twist the facts all he wants, but the evidence is clear: Housing is the foundation people need to recover and thrive. #Housingfirst works.

👎 "One in five older adults is a #renter...most of them are severely cost-burdened."
Don't you think we can do better than this?
